Byjus — Cancellation of trial

I wanted to try the Byjus app so requested for a trial. I was given the trial, however, during the trial period itself, my payment was started. I was told that even to try the product, I have to start the EMI. Later, I raised a cancellation request during the trial period itself, My cancellation was approved at that time but the sales team started negotiating it with me. I informed multiple times that I don't want to go for it now as my kid is very small. After lots of efforts from my side, the cancellation was approved in the month of April, however, due to the lockdown, I couldn't return the product. Meanwhile, I had informed the same to multiple mentors during multiple calls that no courier service was working. I was told that I can return the product once the lockdown is relaxed. Yesterday night, my wife got a call from Byjus's and she informed the caller from Byjus that today 3rd of June, she would be visiting Byju's office and will be returning the product. My wife was informed that she can deliver the product any time through any means like courier or dunzo. We were trying for Dunzo also but as I stay outside of Bangalore, no courier or Dunzo service was working in my locality. Today, when, my wife visited Byju's office, she was told that the cancellation was not possible and Bujus refused to take the return kit. She was also informed that the return was supposed to happen within 30 days of cancellation. We were also told that 30 days of return is mentioned in the cancellation policy also in your website. After my cancellation was approved (attaching the doc), I had discussed the return and my inability to send it through courier multiple times with Byjus'. I was never informed by anyone about the 30 days policy, also, when I checked your website for the cancellation policy, I can see it is not mentioned anywhere in the policy, I am attaching the same for your reference, though, it's your own policy. Because of the lockdown, I was not able to courier it and that was informed multiple times to Byjus through calls and emails and I was assured that I can return it whenever possible. My son is not using the product at all, moreover, my EMI was started during the trial period itself which is not ethical, I have checked with others who had tried the app and were not asked to start the EMI during the trial period. I see the desperation in selling the product. Even after canceling it, Byjus is refusing to take the product back and refund my money. I was offered multiple other schemes by extending the tenure, by reducing the fees etc, but I had been always insisting on a cancellation. The lockdown has affected my job and I am badly hit by it financially and mentally. I have a huge home loan to pay, a child to take care, the Byjus EMI is putting extra burden on me. I will not be able to continue with the EMI for the next 2 years. That's why I canceled the trail during the trial period itself. Byjus is not refunding my money. Please help!
