Byju's — misleading and not processing of refund | |||
A fraud was conducted by the BYJU”s in the name of trail and refund of their learning tablet. Suddenly one day I received a call from Byjus and they requested me for a session with their educational counselor named Akhilesh for advising my child and providing a scholarship program of their learning course at a subsidized price. It was explained to me that if the program doesn’t work for my child it will be refunded within 1 month. And there is 15 days trail period from the day your child start using the tablet he will be tracked and contacted that if the child is reading or not but no such thing happened and if it does not work for him it can immediately refunded. He insisted me to process the payment today itself as the discount will not be given after wards, I ordered 2 program (1 is for Class 6 to 10 and other for class 11-12 ) for my two children which cost me around Rs. 1, 16, 000/- (Rs. 16, 000/- paid through my credit card Rs. 1, 00, 000/- is through loan from Capital Float) One Child used the program for hardly 7-8 days and didn’t find it useful and other child not at all used the program till date. When I asked for refund the executive guided me to mail for the same and assured me it’s not a problem it can be refunded as the trail period of 15 days as well as 1 month period not expired. When I mailed for refund the customer care executive named shipra said me that there is 15 days refund policy and denied me for refund and also said no such trial period option and they don’t know who the executive is and what is said by him and when I said that your refund policy is vague as it only says that it is 15 days refund policy but not from where and your executive explains me that it is the 15 days trail period which starts from the day you start using the product she didn’t take the responsibility of the executive who said all this and said me it is my fault that I took the product without reading proper documents. When I again called the earlier executive and said about the same then he again said me it can be done and ask me to again mail me and say his name and also informed me that he left the job and cannot do anything. I continuously mailed again and again and because of my repeated calls, I was called by another executive named damini saying the executive i.e. shipra who is handling my case is out of office and we cannot do anything just can inform her and refused to process my refund. This is not expected from BYJU’s, such a big organization but after this it seemed as if nothing but a money minded and fraud organization who by misguiding the people by providing misleading information do sales and complete their target and later on deny refunds and harass people. My hard earned money is trapped here because of misleading information of the executives and I want refund of the credit card payment of Rs. 16, 000/- and cancellation of the loan agreement with capital float.
