Citibank — citibank illegally holding 5000 rupees of neft without crediting to the account | |||
There has been an neft transfer of rupees 5000 from corporation bank (Neft reference number[protected] to my citi bank on 28th dec 2017. This amount is still not credited to my account neither its been sent back to the sender and its been more than 5 days and i am not getting proper response from citi bank. I had call citi bank multiple times on this and i have been told that this amount is on hold and citibank is asking for sender's personal confidential details which i have refused to share as i don't want to share the details of the sender as i don't have these details. When its a neft from one bank to another bank, do not understand the reason or the logic on citi bank asking its customer for sharing someone else personal information rather than checking this internally through bank. Spoke to one senior customer care manager fathima on 1st jan 2018 requested citi bank if they cannot take that neft credit to send the money back to sender which she said will be resolved in two days which is still not resolved. I have spoken to citi customer care executive rajesh on 4th jan 2018 again on the status for which he said they are still looking at this issue. I am wasting lot of time and effort behind this without having a trace of the money which citi bank is holding without any reasons.
