    Dear Sir,

    I am a reputed employee of public sector bank. I have applied for Citibank credit card which was lifetime free and used it in 2018.I have used it only one time and made payment of it and closed my credit card in 2018. Recently I have checked my Cibil report where Citibank credit card shows Rupees 1838 outstanding balance in my account and due 700.In this Pandemic situation Bank Employees have worked in spite of corona threat to provide service to Common Man. I ask Citibank, after closing my card in 2018, how they start charging me from September 2020 to May 2021. I have never received any conservation, letter or SMS after 2018 from Citibank. My Cibil also got affected. I want apology letter from Citi bank and clearance of my this issue and no due certificate of my mentioned credit card.

        Hi Team,

        I raised multiple requests for waived off my extra charges for not paying the full credit card amount.

        I affected with Covid and unable to pay ontime my credit card bill . i called customer care center for several times and requested to waived off my charges.

        But no use of my requests they denied my request.

        KINDLY NOTE that i cleared all my credit card bill now.

        My request is only to waive off extra charges.

        Please do the needful ASAP

          Hi, I want to close my Citibank suvidha savings account and I have been raising request for the same since last 2 weeks. I have got an intimidation that in case of non closure within 12th June'21, I'll have to maintain minimum NRV of Rs. 1lakh and account will be converted to Savings Bank account. The customer care executives have been postponing the request in the name of Pandemic and have asked me to visit offline branch in case I need immediate closure. This is harassment from Citibank's part, where they aren't taking online closure request in the name of Pandemic, yet asking me to visit offline branch for the same. I DO NOT wish to continue using their services and they CANNOT force me to do so.

            I, Nivedita Patri, hold a Citibank Suvidha Account which is currently inactive.I had sent self-attested KYC documents multiple times to their Chennai head-office.Then I visited the Kolkata Citibank Barbourne branch on 10th Apr 2019 and submitted necessary documents to activate my account.My address, phone number and KYC is already updated.
            And I received a call from Citibank on 14th May 2019 saying my Suvidha Account is active but until now I haven't received my new debit card.
            I live in Odisha, I went all the way to Kolkata to submit my documents.
            Citibank has its branches in very few cities in India, it has no branches in Odisha. If Citibank would have been accessible like other banks in India..I could have visited any branch and done the transaction.Neither I can do online transaction because my old debit card and online banking password is expired.
            I have been talking to Customer Care agent since last 5 yrs regarding activation of account.
            Unfortunately nobody gives me full and clear instructions.Every single customer care representative has been telling me different ways of activating my account.
            Also when I visited Kolkata, Barbourne branch on 10th Apr 2019..I was assured my account will be activated which has not happened until now.
            I am completely pissed off calling Citibank Customer Care agents every other day.Its really pity I have to struggle so much to access my hard earned money.After all this experience I would like to close my citibank account.Now that they are closing business in India I would like to know how can I get my money.

              I converted my savings account into an NRO account. The conversion leads to close my credit card. Since I wasn't aware of the pre-closure charges, I was waiting for the March month statement to clear off the dues. From March 5 until March 20, I received no message or email about the pending charges or any communication I have to pay immediately. Also, the linked credit card was removed from my account. So I was unable to check the charges. March 20, I received a bill with almost 11 thousand extra charges (over-limit, late fee, and GST). I called up the bank executives and never resolved until one of the executives on April 18 told me that she would assist with the charges in 24 hours. She told me to hold the payment as reversal will be difficult. Meanwhile, I raised a query, wrote to the head office as I got no update in 24 hours.
              On April 20, I get a new statement with extra charges, late fees, GST, and the due raised from 4, **, *** to 5 **, ***. If the late fees and GST of last month were reversed, I could have paid the due, and it would have been an end of discussion. But I got no email or notification about the reversal. And I realized the Citi bank system has a big-time communication gap and a way to make money from customers like us.
              After seeing extra charges, I kept calling and requesting a solution. I would have called 50 times until today. Below are the responses from the so-called Citi officer.
              • Mam, I am really sorry for the inconvenience.
              • Can you please repeat the issue before I transfer your call to the supervisor? They disconnect phones when they don't know what to do. Since it's pandemic and the team is working from home, there is poor connectivity and benefitting.
              • When I request them to connect me to a supervisor, as I have called them so often, they will say mam line is busy, and we can't connect you to the supervisor. However, our supervisor will contact you, which never happened, including today.
              • Listen to everything and disconnect the call.
              • Transfer me to the saving account department, and they transfer to the NR account. NR account transferred me back to the credit card account. SO back to square one after 1.5 hours of the call.
              After so many requests, the supervisors called me Twice and told me they would revert with the resolution. Not a single time in the last 60 days, I received an email or a call with a solution. Still, I got emails from the collection team, promotion emails, referral emails, and action emails if I missed payment to torment me mentally.
              After all this, I reached out to a lawyer to discuss all the issues and thought to pay whatever the bill is so the lawyer can take care of the extra charges charged to me.
              I transferred money from my western union and send it to my domestic account. From a domestic account, I transfer it to the CITI NRO account. I could not make a payment, so I resend money from the Citi NRO account to my domestic account. I do an NEFT transfer from my domestic account to pay my Citi bill, and I get a reversal, and NEFT is canceled with a message" account doesn't exist." I call their executive to get a solution for this, and she told me if I could make a bill desk payment but never bothered to check why the payment was failed. She suggests I make a bill desk payment, and if it's a success, the bank will receive payment in two days. So, I make the bill desk payment for 1*** as a test, and since it was successful, I paid 5, **, *** on May 6. As highlighted above, I don't get any notification from the bank, so I called Citi bank after two days, and I get to know a different thing. The card is tagged as an NR, so payment failed, and it is reversed to my domestic account. So basically, back to square one. I would not have been able to make the payment last month as well as my card is not linked to Citi NRO, and the bank doesn't accept the payment in any other form. Now I have got my NRO closed and sent the KYC document to untag cad, but they are taking time and not reverting with the solution.

                  I have requested for EMI conversion but instead of that they sent me full payment statement without converting any EMI which i requested for, but now when i paid full amount not you are charging me the EMI process amount and emi amount

A probate application has been made to the high court by me Nanak S. Ghatalia who is the son of the deceased and a named executor in the Will of the Late Mrs. U. S. Ghatalia. Until the probate is obtained, there is nothing we can do.. Since 2011, this account has been kept open because of cheques coming directly into the bank...

                      Mr. S. V. Ghatalia has an account No: [protected] with Citibank. Mr. S. V. Ghatalia passed away on 10 September 2008. This account is mentioned in the probate of the Late Mr. S. V. Ghatalia as his asset. This account has been kept open because the estate of the Late Mr. S. V. Ghatalia has not been wound up due to matters pending in court and nothing can be done until the court takes up the matter for a hearing and issues final orders. Since 2008, this account has been kept open because of cheques coming directly into the bank account from dividends and fixed deposits. Now Citibank is asking for KYC documents which cannot be produced as Mr. S. V. Ghatalia and Mrs. U. S. Ghatalia both joint holders have passed away and are no longer alive. Under such circumstances, please advise if the account can be kept open until the final court orders are obtained. immense hardship will be caused if the account is closed.

                      This matter is urgent because Citibank has given me only a week's notice to close the account. I require a direction from RBI that the account can be kept open until final orders of the court are received.

                        Hello,
                        I was using CITI credit card since 2015. Recently in the moth of July there was fraudulent transaction and i have blocked this credit card. I have received last statement of this card in July stating dues payable as "0".
                        Today I have received notice of payment of Rs. 1206.06 due for payment immediately. What is this? You people try to threten to affect my CIBIL score for non payment.
                        I am the credit card customer of CITI Bank since 2015 and have reissued another card in the month of August 2020.
                        Please provide me reasons for no reminders of payment (Just SMS that too dated 26.03.2021).
                        Please provide satisfactory reply and arrange of repayment of Rs. 1206.06 with interest paid by me today or else i will swaitvh to another credit card.

                            Citibank changed my address without my consent which led to me losing a lot of money that I saved for my higher education. When I reach out to them regarding this issue, they are making me talk to countless customer care executives over the period of a month now and haven't even cared to provide a resolution.

                            Please take action!

                              Hi, i have a citizen bank credit card. Total outstanding is showing now 106000 which is overlimit. My credit limit was only 75000. I am using this card from last 2 years.

                              Currently, i am jobless from 1 year and not able to make payment of my total outstanding. Currently it is very hard to me to live a normal life in this financial crisis. My total outstanding is 106000 because every month interest charge is a round 3600 + overlimit : 500 + 18% gst. It is creating lots of mental pressure on me.

                              I contacted citi bank credit card settlement team for the same and ask them to convert my outstanding to emi. They told me that no emi option is available on my card and then after disclosing my current situation, i asked for settlement the total outstanding.
                              I contacted the collection team and got disappointed. They told no emi or settlement option is available on my card. They threaten me, that if i am not able to make the payment then they know how to recover the amount and some abusive word. I faced this issue and this create mental pressure on me. Moreover, every day i got so many calls from citi bank collection team and they are harassing as well.

                              I asked citi bank for several time for settlement or cibil clear in low amount. But no hopes. I am ready to clear my cibil in low amount.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I paid for Indian Gas Cylinder Refill amount through the link I received after booking the Gas Cylinder by IVR Number on[protected] by using payzapp as payment mode with CITI Credit Card. Amount was deducted and successful message was received. While delivering the cylinder they collected amount and said that they didn't received any amount for the booking I have made. I inquired with Gas agencies and they replayed that amount was not received for the Gas booking, so kindly contact with Bank which I used for the payment.
                                  I have given complaint to Indian Oil Corporation regarding this issue but till date no response. I don’t know who is responsible for my debited amount (746.50/-).
                                  I hope at least from your side will look in to this issue. The details are in the attached screen shots.

                                    My ready credit account is deactivated may be because i don't use ready credit. But it is showing balance in negative.

                                    Because it automatically deduct from ready credit when my account doesn't have sufficient balance. And when i want to pay back then it seems impossible because my account is in inactive mode.. what kind of logic is that?? It can deduct from inactive account but cant pay back. Custom service suggested that i need to go to the branch.. I don't have time to go branch..
                                    from last one year bank is dedicating panelty from my account because i am unable to clear my ready credit amount.. IT'S GREAT... so what should i do now??

                                      This is disgusting, getting too many calls (Atleast 2-3 calls/day) from CITI bank and their consultancies for personal loans and credit card. A day is starting and ending with CITI bank call. Hope you can understand how they are irritating. I didn't apply for loan/credit cards in any CITI anywhere.
                                      Couldn't understand how bank got my numbers.
                                      Kindly remove my number (+91 - [protected], +91-[protected]) from your database. Expecting from now not to get any call till i apply for loans or credit cards.
