[Resolved]  Club Mahindra Holidays — Cancellation and thus refund of Club Mahindra Membership

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to cancel Club Mahindra Membership due to following reasons:

(a) I had taken the membership considering I can visit most resorts as per my wish and as per my children's holidays. Hence, I had upgraded from White Studio to Red Studio by spending an extra amount of Rs. 1, 61, 831. However, even in the Red season membership, I find most of the resorts filled. I cannot go to holiday when my children have school days however I was not aware of this fact as I was misrepresented by Club Mahindra sales representative.

(b) Club Mahindra is accused of taking different membership fee from different members. I have paid Rs. 4, 39, 352 while some members have paid only Rs. 3, 50, 000 towards the membership in[protected].

(c) I have paid a total amount of Rs. 4, 87, 152 to Club Mahindra including ASF but I do not find any utility of taking such membership as resorts are never available when required, resorts are very far-off and compared to other such resorts available online through Make My Trip, fee charged is too much.

(d) Cost of food is exorbitant. Per person buffet is somewhere like Rs. 650-750 while Ala-carte is very costly. So, while most other hotels offer complimentary breakfast and reasonable meals, cost of meal at Club Mahindra is very high. There are almost no other options available for dining except Club Mahindra. Thus, in a day for a 2 Adult + 2 Kids, one will end up spending something like Rs. 3, 500-4, 000 per day and then they tell that cost of boarding is free with membership.

(e) Different prospective members had been given expensive gifts such as TV, paid trips to abroad, etc, which also was never offered to me even though I have paid more than most members in same category.

Policy adopted by Club Mahindra in making members is differential and unjust. Similarly policy by Club Mahindra in giving holidays is also unjust. For example, Membership at Pavana, Lonavala is not offered online reason for which is beyond my understanding.

It is my sincere desire to surrender the Membership and get the refund in this respect. I also desire to resolve the matter amicably failing which I may decide my future course of action including legal recourse against the Company in an appropriate forum.

मेरे द्वारा मेरी पत्नी श्रीमती कीर्ति दीक्षित w/o आशीष दुबे के नाम से 30-07-18 को क्लब महिंद्रा की मेम्बरशिप ली गयी थी.. मेरी ID - 2830465 है..

उस समय मेने BRGB बांसवाड़ा के खाता संख्या [protected] से 28930 का पेमेंट किया गया था..

[protected] अक्लब् महिंद्रा द्वारा मुझे 90 दिवस के मध्य भुगतान का मेल प्राप्त हुआ। उस के बाद[protected] को फिर से मुझे मेल प्राप्त हुआ जिस में मुझे 12 से 15 दिवस में भुगतान की बात करी गयी। आप के कार्मिक से जानकारी करने पर बताया कि may 2019 में मुझे refund कर दिया गया है।

मेने जिस बैंक खाते से 28930 का पेमेंट किया था.. मेरे द्वारा 30-07-18 के बाद से अभी तक का बैंक स्टेटमेंट निकाल कर चेक किया गया तो मेरे खाते में आज दिनांक[protected] तक ऐसी कोई राशि जमा होना नहीं बताया गया..

मेरा आप से आग्रह है कि कृपया मुझे रिफंड की विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान करें कि किस तारीख को किस खाता संख्या में कितनी राशी आप के द्वारा भेजी गई है..

बार बार जानकारी के बावजूद मुझे मेरे रिफंड प्राप्त नहीं हो रहे है.. ना ही कोई व्यवस्थित आश्वासित जवाब दिया जाता है..

मेरी पीड़ा को समझिए में जुलाई 2018 से अपने रिफंड के लिए निवेदन करता आ रहा हूँ

जिस तरह मेम्बरशिप देते समय ट्रीट किया जाता है काश उसी तरह बाद में भी उपभोक्ता के साथ व्यवहार हो तो इतना दुख ना हो

मुनाफा या कमाई ही एकमात्र ध्येय ना रख कर उपभोक्ता की संतुष्टि को प्राथमिकता दी जाए

We are member vide membership No. 1864939. On 26/09/2021 during our visit to Kanatal resort their team misrepresented and convinced us to get memebrship upgraded from 1 BR red to Purple Studio and accordingly Rs.77473/- was paid. On reading in detail about benefits we wrote immediately on 30/09/2021 to revert our membership to earlier one and refund the amount paid. But such cheaters they are even after three mails their was no response from their side.Ultimately we had to engage an advocate and gave notice to do the needful failing which we will file a case after expiry of 7 days notice period. What type of hospitality company is this we fail to understand?

उपभोक्ता के साथ इस तरह का व्यवहार अनुचित है। कृपया मुझे शीघ्र समाधान कर रिफंड राशि का भुगतान किया जाए।
Having same issues. I feel like they scammed my innocent parents into getting this 25 years of blackmailing. Pay your maintenance fee or lose all the money that you have paid them already. Our family finally got together after the years of covid! And the trip was ruined! Club Mahindra cuts you off from the world, in an overrated, over-charging, badly maintained resorts with minimal manpower, below average and pricey meals. Could have had better experience at better hotels and resorts, for a smaller budget even! Today was the worst experience! Membership gives you no advantage. You pay them so that they can tell you WHEN and WHERE to book your holidays so that you can be secluded and forced to take THEIR poor but expensive services. Today we were given a smelly room with algae growing in the bathroom and construction work surrounding us. We're from the northeast India and even our villages look better than the club Mahindra resorts. We had to make multiple complaints and then get shifted to another resort. By then we were exhausted from the long travel and ended up not having any lunch, including my senior citizen father. Now in the next resort I go to sat in the balcony and drunken men from another roof kept waving at me and I felt unsafe because of where the place is located and how thinly populated the property is. I couldn't enjoy even the balcony time. The kitchen also closed before the mentioned timing. It felt like harassment. And my mother was so happy when she took the membership for 25 years thinking that she was going to pass on this as something nice to her children. Never been so disappointed in MY LIFE! Can't wait to get rid of this suffocation.
I want to cancel as well. Please tell me the procedure. The worst decision of my life was to take club mahindra membership.. Never get any rooms, asf is through the roof and food prices are insanely high..

I started with my membership on 1st June 2022 and paid around 63K including the Annual ASF fee. After looking at the resort, I was unable to find any on my preferred dates for blue membership. Most dates where my kids have holidays the resorts are showing as booked for red. I contacted the member experience and they are asking to upgrade inorder to avail for those dates or go for holidays based on they availbility which is absolute pathetic.

They never shared the terms and conditions with me and I have requested for refund of my full fees given that its not even 30 days and have not utilized any services. However, these guys are not ready to pay the refund citing no refund policy as per XYZ clause. Where is this clause mentioned ? Why this as not disclosed ?

On January 7th we were called for a meeting by Mahindra Holidays in Taj Club House regarding they anniversary. On Courtesy basis we attended the meeting. There they discussed about the Holiday Plans such as 3 years Package – with Every year 6 nights / 7days (600 Points) and addon 2* 2 nights 3 days complimentary stay package + 9000/-Rs Amazon Gift Voucher, and compelled us to pay the amount of 40000/- Rs(Through Visa Card Payment they swiped 35950/- at 10% discount) saying that it’s a one day offer.
After a week 14th January I received a verification call which didn’t say about the complimentary stay + 9000/- amazon gift voucher which I insisted. Then after 3 days Mr.Thiru confirmed me about the above two in whatsapp. And now after so many days when we enquire about the same, he is not responding in a proper way and dogging us. Which is creating the mental stress and also, we couldn’t plan a trip and travel in an early basis.
So kindly cancel our package plan and refund our amount as early as possible.
My cancellation case number[protected], I have requested my membership cancellation on 30th January, So for many times I have escalated in customer care and by mail, On 23rd March also from customer care they raised the complaint again and said with in 2 to 3 days it will get solved, Today also they have given another complaint number 02896555, but so for I’m not getting any response from club Mahindra .
