I m here to register a complaint regarding Club Mahindra Membership.
We got a call from club Mahindra saying that you being a Maruti customer, we are offering you a free trip of 2nights and 3 days for free of cost and were called for an hour of presentation at one of the hotels in Ahmedabad. Due to continuous follow-ups, we attended the presentation which almost took 3-4 hours to finish. During the time we were forced to take up the membership which had the basic value of 35000 and which after giving tens of new offers and promises convinced anyhow to take up the plan to 25000 for 10 years. This was finally convinced to us by Mr. Rahul who told as the senior official on their team. We were told that will receive the welcome kit in 4-5 days which we received after a month and a half, after taking the membership.
We taking the membership were clearly promised that Mr. Akash will be their customer representative and would arrange for the trips. After receiving the welcome kit, the EMI started right from January 2018 and we would be able to take the first trip or the free trip only after paying the march EMI. After march when we tried to call Akash for the trip and suggestions, he was not a single time available on the phone calls. We repeatedly tried to reach him calling every week after week, but there was no response, and the same case with Rahul followed. Finally, we received a call from Akash in April end saying that he has left the job from club Mahindra and he would ask some other official to take up your account. Not a single person has come over to attend till date for any of our needs. Mr. Rahul is not yet in any contact after offering the membership. Continuous phone calls from our side were made to get in contact when one day we registered the complain on CM facebook page. Mr. Mohit called up just the second day, saying that you need some assistance. We clearly made him clear that we would like to freeze the EMI cycle and end up the membership right from that very day. He clearly refused us to freeze the EMI cycle and told us that there is no policy against any reimbursement of the money. Instead in return, he started giving us suggestions for continuing the membership and forcing us to follow EMI cycle. We were sure to discontinue the service, so he told us to wait for a few days for his call, which happened to be his vacation leave and after returning too he didn’t revert. In July we received a call from him, saying that we don’t have any policy to return the money. Then we went to the CM office in Ahmedabad, where we met Mr. Amish who instead of listening to our complaint started offering us the trip to the different destination, which we were completely not wanting for. Till date, Rahul has not tried to contact us after making all those fake promises. It is usually a big waste of time talking to these officials for 30 – 45 minutes, explaining each of them our problem and then again they ask to call on the same day or within 2 days. In the end, there is nobody calling and if someone reverts, they don’t have any solution to stop our EMI cycle and reimburse for the money they have from us.
Finally, we have talked to our bank, to freeze the EMI which is deducted every month on 7th. Its really surprising to find not a single personnel knowledgeable about the product offers, details and terms and conditions involved in the membership.
We strictly advise, not to take up any membership when it is forced with a bundle of offers and discounts. And to club Mahindra guys, whoever is concerned, we kindly ask for the reimbursement of the complete amount along with the interests. The worst experience that we had with such a labeled company, who claims to be so much and poor offerings.
