Colive — Changing dues amount from Backend and continuously Harassing by email and chats

My name is Sumit Kumar Singh,

I joined Colive Overland Park Bellandur, Bangalore on 1st December 2023, and left on 31st January 2024.

I booked a balcony view room when i visited under zero deposit scheme with rent of 15000. But in very first month they ask me to deposit 1200+4000+15000 before check-in which i did.

When i checked in they changed my room from backend, Sales Manager did not pick my calls and they refused to return back money.

I wanted to leave colive after 10 days but they said they need advance notice for 1 month so i raised notice almost 45 days before for next month and paid extra 15000 as next month rent.

Next month i could see they have added extra charges along with deposit. They also increased the rent amount. When account team contacted me i explained them that there is no sense in giving deposit if i am already under notice period and leaving colive. Account team guy agreed to leave deposit but ask me to pay excess rent.

I have paid the agreed amount so that there will be no dues left. But they did something from backend and again they were showing 5600 left as my dues including 1200+4000+500 (Late fees) which i already paid before check-in.

After paying 43, 650 for 2 months (agreed amount is 15K per month), so that i will not be annoyed by anonymous call, they keep harrasing by sending messages & emails.

Then they are harrasing further by sending emails and chats about sending me a legal notice claiming I need to pay them an extra amount of 13, 469 (5600+separation charges). Why do we need to give separation charges when notice raised 45 days ago.

They are constantly asking for money, troubling me, I am not at all feeling well, I never expected this kind of thing.

Rs 4000 was kept as deposit and should be returned to me after i left. It seems like there is no transparency in the transactions. Anyone from backend could change anything that will reflect falsely on your account. i assume this is because of backend changes that my dues are incorrectly created. But they are not listening to any reasoning.

Colive Customer Care's response
The separation charges are the mandatory deduction that will get deducted from the security deposit after the checkout & is as per the company policy ( please refer handbook clause 4.3.6 & agreement clause 3.10). As there is no security deposit paid, there is no place to adjust this amount & needs to be paid.
