I moved into Colive PG Rome in Whitefield, Bangalore, on 26th Feb 2025, and was frustrated with their rent. Originally, they told me my rent would be 18k+18 % GST and a 20k Security Deposit. And within a month, they raised my rent by 700. Then started getting bills up to 21- 23k, and there were problems with Wifi, Food, and cleaning. So I decided to move out. I got PG for far cheaper in April. As it was 18th April, I talked with a colive representative (who now doesn't work there anymore) and property manager, and they told me that I would not receive the Security Deposit only, as I'm not serving the notice period. and no other charges. Now they have sent me a bill of 54K to pay, or they will take legal action. In the bill, they are also charging absurd amounts like overdue rent, notice period charges, separation charges, electricity charges and damages. While leaving on 30th April manager confirmed to me that no damage had been done. And I paid all the rent on time. The rent overdue doesn't apply as I didn't stay for a single day in May month but they are telling me I have lived till the 3rd of May, which is false. As I moved to the new place on 30th April.. They are threatening Legal proceedings and an FIR. I'm scared as they didn't tell me any additional charge, and now sending me this. Please help. Was this information helpful? |
