Dear Colive Team,
I am writing to formally escalate my concern regarding the non‑payment of my refund, which has become a serious and stressful issue despite my full compliance with the terms of your agreement.
I vacated my Colive accommodation in Bangalore on 28th February 2026, and as per the rental agreement, Colive is required to process the refund within 15 days of checkout. However, not only has the refund not been processed, but there has also been no clear communication or timely action from your side.
Additionally, when I contacted Colive Customer Care, I was informed that a cheque would be issued only after 30 days. This is extremely distressing financially because nowhere in the beginning was this procedure communicated, nor is this mentioned in my agreement. When joining Colive, your team did not disclose such a long delay in refunds — yet if tenants delay payment by even one day, Colive imposes a ₹500 penalty, which is strictly enforced.
This imbalance is unfair, unethical, and causes financial hardship.
I complied with your terms, vacated on time, and expected the same adherence from your side. Your team had clearly stated the refund would be processed within 15 days, but the amount still has not been received.
This delay, miscommunication, and failure to honor your own timeline is unacceptable and warrants compensation for financial inconvenience, along with immediate refund. Was this information helpful? |
