[Resolved]  — cheating people

Hi folks,

Thank god, I came across this website luckely. Other wise I would have been cheated by Country vacations company.

Even I received a call from them telling that I won 2 gifts. For that I need to go to their office. Only couples are eligible it seems.

I still have one doubt, whether will they give our gifts if we didn't agree for their membership or not. Can some one answer my question please?

i totally agree that country vacations is a cheater club.i recieved a call from country vacations and was told that i've won two gifts.they called me with one married couple.when we reached there they informed us to attend a 90 min session.just imagine in a busy working day they are calling people without pre-informing them abt the session.i dealt with mr Piyush who was rude and lying that he has informed me abt the same.he didn't have the courtesy to come and speak to me personally.they are highl unsofisticated people to deal with and they cheat people.

I fully endorse the complaints regarding Country Vacations. On a Sunday, I was asked to go to their Office at Statue, Trivandrum, along with my wife + child and after much hype and glitter by a bunch of girls (wolves in sheep's attire) we were promised 3.5 cents of land at Bangalore!!!. Immediately I gave them a post dated cheque for Rs. 50, 000/-. But only later, that I realised the magnitude of the scam and when the Cheque was presented I duly got it bounced. yes me 2 the same, they are fraud, I lose 40000 Rs. i dind get any tour package and there is no answer from his side. they are .

hey...thanx all...i'm lucky that i fund dis on net b4 goin to them...recently i got a call saying that i got gifts, they got my number when i filled a form at cine planet...same crap...luckily i havent attended after goin thru dis blog...

Today i recieved a call from Country vacations offering 3 prizes..and i must come along with wife or send any couple to claim the prize.. i felt suspicious and decided to check online...Thanks to this site..i realise that they are big cheats and i am not going to waste my Time going to collect the prize... No one gives anything free in these days of financial crisis !!!

Some guy from CV, just called me up and said I had won a free gift and had to come as a couple to collect it. When asked how the hell i "won" it as I had never done anything; he said it was a lucky draw from some mall visit i had made. He was unable to give me the date or any other details. Common sense told me that it was an unsolicited marketing call and I politely asked the guy not to call me again. At this he got wild and started abusing me! When I tried to stop him, he further started using the F word and said he would Fock everyone in my house!! I don't know the name but he called from Bangalore using the number 40925713 on[protected] at about 7 PM.

When he hung up I called back to the number hoping to talk to some senior but was faced with more abuses... What a novel way of marketing! If this is the kind of people country vacations is hiring and if this is their attitude towards people, I pity all those who have joined and lost their money and time. I hope some sensible person in their organisation does some thing and take relevant action against the caller and steps to improve their services.

My aunt recently "won" a free 6 day, 5 night trip from Country Club - They offered her 4 locations: Bali (Indonesia), Kandy (Srilanka), Goa and Kerala (in India). Same story of having to go as a couple to attend their prize giving ceremony. Since she is a spinster, she asked one of her friends and her husband to attend it. There they were asked penetrating questions and indecently treated at the 2-hour razz-ma-tazz ceremony. She was also asked to pay Rs. 3, 000 as membership fees in order to avail the benefits. After much research on the internet I somehow stumbled across this website - Oh I'm so THANKFUL TO EVERYONE who has posted here (and those who started this consumer complaints portal) - You have saved my time and my unmarried aunt a lot o[censored]nwanted harrasment and monetary loss.
I also tried calling up a tel number they had given her:[protected]. It says such a number doesnt exist!! Beware of country vacations and their scheming strategies.
I consider finding this forum as my New Year gift!

My mom also got a similar call, saying she had won a free holiday and that she should attend a seminar with her husband to claim the gift. No further details of the supposed holiday were given. Thank you all for posting your complaints on this site and saving us a lot of trouble. We will definately not be attending any seminars !

yesterday i got a call from country vacation that i won 2 prize through lucky draw .they asked for couple but as m single i planned to send my brother n his wif...from so many complains listed above i got to knw that taking its membership is troublesome.

but i want to ask weather going there in their office n taking gifts wll cause anything wrong.any1 pls reply fast

Hey guys, i reacived a call from country vacation 20 minutes back that i have won the lucky draw of 25, 000 for going kerala and goa.For reaciving the ticket of that draw they asked me to come ETERNITY MALL, THANE along with my wife.

Yes true, in near future all fraudulent acts of CCIL will be revealed.

There are four clubs at Bangalore, through out the year there is no quality, maintenance and good staffs.

Only thing we know is they take membership fees regularly with too many follow ups and repeated calls, sometimes 100 calls in a month.

During holidays they say all clubs are full and how are we supposed to utilize our membership.

Also there is no refund. I regret now

i have forced my mom to buy membership provided by country vacations, and we hav paid an amount of 1, 10, 000 now i was in the position to know whether dis company is a good or not can any body giv me reply pleaseeee

I agree. Country Vacation is a fraud organisation. They collected Rs.18000/ from me years back in advace for providing acomodation during vacation. But when approaced they refused. It is a fraud group.

I got a call from Country vacations saying that i won 3 prizes. 1 is Kitchen set 2. Dinner set and the 3.Free trip to Goa or Kerala. I don't know, anyone PLZ reply whether to approach the seminar venue or not.

I'd been cheated by Country Vacations/Country Club people. They had promised a lot and 450Sq. yard plot at Janagaon their upcoming project Golf Village. I'd already made a payement of 1, 75000 Rupees. Can anyone please help me out in getting my money back.

Even we were cheated .They are the big cheaters.We travelled all the way from Ranebennur to hubli when they informed us of vacation offer.

Yes, I too go a call from Country Vacations from Defence Colony in Delhi from a person called Haider, who said I had won 3 gifts, one of which was a 5 nights and 6 days stay at Goa or Sri Lanka or Bali. I am wondering whether I should go for the presentation or not after having read through all the posts. Does anyone know if their offer is genuine or not?

today i get a call from country club vacation, and the caller tell his name ved prakash, and confirming my name to me when i reply him not to disturb i am in a meeting, person literly start abusing...and i want to esclate this to higher authorities of ccv.

Guys, we also got a call from country vacations that we won 3 gifts - Rs.25, 000 holiday package, and kitchen utensils. Initially we thought it may be true and give a try, we'll get kitchen utensils free of cost and attended their place. There we could find a bunch o[censored]nprofessional people to give presentation, who didtnt know proper language and was speaking tapori hindi. He was even asking very personal questions which I cant disclose in this forum. Then he explained abt. holidays for about 2 hours and tried his best to get our credit card details and offered us packages as low as Rs.35, 000. But since we wanted only free gifts, we never bothered to join any of their schemes and finally made us fill a feedback form (We filled all wrong info in the form) and asked us collect our gift. They made us wait, wait and wait for gift and finally gave us gift voucher of Rs.25, 000 as free holiday packages, but refused to give kitchen utensils (for which i went there). But inorder to use free holiday package i have to pay Rs.3, 000 as admin fee and additionally I have to pay for all food, travel and sight seeing and who knows what more additional cost involved (and free gift???). Initially when presentation started he was repetedly asking us how we feel after winning free gifts, share ur experience...PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL THESE FRAUDS...PLEASE DONT EVEN GIVE UR CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO ANY ONE AND ALWAYS BE SUSPISIOUS ABT MARKETING EXECUTIVES, THEY TALK SWEETLY BUT CAN NEVER BE UR FRIENDS.
