[Resolved]  — cheating people

Its true only, I am also the one is suffering now, they blocked my complete credit limit. When we asked for the cancellation, 80% they won't refund back, I can get just only 20% only. I am totally in tensed I don't know what to do now.

I'm a member of CV and recently visited KODIAKANAL.
When I reached there I found it's a remote location and not in the Kodai city, no commuting to the city was easy from this place. Also the resort (Actually a bhoot bangla)..and should not be called as resort) is of third class grade and nobody was there other than me my wife and my 1.5 year old son.

The place was so dirty and not hygienic to stay there but we were helpless as we had booked all ticket and done all planning in advance.

The place is so remote that for shopping anything need to go to town by spending INR 900 per day..which was so costly.

As we have paid so much money to get good returns we expect a good return from CV...

This was really harassment from CV and they have spoiled my vacation (which is first ownership vacation), If I faced such problem at a very first time what would be happen with rest of the holidays.

Also it was duty of CV manager to guide us where to visit and where not they should have clearly told us that the resort is not ready for stay then I might have choose some other location.

I'm really lost my cool, I spoiled my vacation and my valuable money which I spent there.

Hi all.thanks for the info's given in this site. iwe 2 were called and given a worse lecture reg. country vacations. we had an hectic afternoon with banging music and coaxing staff.we still have the holiday offer letter with us.thanks to all.we'l tear it now.beware of these cheats.

One of my friend got call from country club regarding winning a free gift voucher for Goa tour ( only accommodation in a five star hotel ) but they said it will be for only couple. My friend then call me and asked to come on for presentation . During presentation one of manager asked me have i heard about Country Club . Luckily i had read about them in this site and told him about the complains listed here in reply he got rude and start talking rudely . I was smiling at him after knowing that the complains written here about Country Club is true .

by the way they gave me that gift voucher but i teared that one in front of him. Thanks to this site giving right information .

hi sandeep here i was called to the same kind of offers in jaynagar they were not told for 1 hour presentation but they convienced us n service was good ya they offered me some good offers which was for the day n i joined the club paying 60000 called milloinaire ya i got the card n ya i had been to holiday were it was not tat good but k service was better i beleive i reffered my friends even they r member even they got the cards every thing service is also good so my suggestion plz take a member ship from right peersons not with evey body

yes, the country vacation company under division of country club is totally make the public as a fool. I already made about that complaint to the local police station in pondicherry and the tourism department and the cheif seceretary, cheif minister cell, Governor office, superient of police, collector office. No one take action against the company to stop. But I try to get back our money in my own way that is take my family friend along with the real estate person who is dhadha ask the manager to give the deposit then he agree to surrender. we are satisfied now. This is the right way to get our money from them otherwise it is very difficult. Government peoples are

i received a cal from country vacations, claiming that i was choosen through a lucky lot from one of the fair i attended ...

they are asking me to come as a couple and collect the gift, which is a cookery item and they say i hav an option of choosing any one of the vacation plans for free ...

i just want to try my hand in internet about this company, and accidently i came through this site...

I had paid Rs. 20000/ through credit card to Country vacations on 23.08.2008. Very next day I asked them to refund the same as it was not debited to my credit card after seeing the comments in this site. They did not refund the same. Then I approached Consumer Affairs and with their intervetion, I got my money back on 03.02.2009. It was a horible experience.

I have read the comments.But can u tell me what to do.The country club vacation had given me a gift worth 25000rs and i bought tht frm there office in trivandrum.They tell that i have to pay only 3000 rs for the 7day stay in there clubs in goa, lerala, srilanka, indonasia.Can i go for it.Will any problems will occur??
Is the price will vary??

I received a call from Country Vacation telling me I had won 6 nights accommodation at a 5 star hotel. after going there they gave me a free bowel set and gave me a free gift vovchre for 7 days stay in their resort. they told that food and other expenses will be mine and also i have to pay some taxes

i do not know whether they r cheating me or whether i would be benefited

I got the similar telephone call today. I am single so I have nominated my parents to collect it on coming sunday i.e on 1st March. The mall where I won the contest that the woman on phone referred is Vishal Mega Mart in Cuttack. Kitchen set and Rs 24000 holiday package in Goa, Kerala, Srilanka and Indonesia were promised. But she insisted for a session of 1 and half hours. That made me suspicious. I found this site and what a relief I am getting now. ha ha. I am not going anywhere, but atleast my money and my parents prestige are saved.

When you receive the call from country club, please go to their office if the travel between your home and Country club office is not more than 100 rupees cost worth (Including return trip to your home). You speak to them friendly and let them to speak more and more. At the last, just disagree with their prize conditions and ask them few more days for think about their offer on free life time membership. I am sure that they will not give you even single day for taking decision; instead they will say that this offer is only for today and if you don't agree, we are going to cancel this offer to you...etc.. When you are firm in your condition, they will finally cancel their third offer. At last, you will surely get one crockery or any other household appliances gift along with free 7 days hotel accomodation voucher in Goa, Kerala, Pali or Srilanka. Just get these two and return back to your home. That is it. You will not be the looser instead you will at least gain Rs.200 + in the crockery or other house hold gift. I did the same but still i have not yet used the 7 days trip voucher as being afraid of further cheating by them in distant locations. Their booking charge is also too expensive (Rs.3000). I too suggest that don't make any trip with their voucher if you don't have sufficient money.

i have paid rs.1, 09, 000/ for five year membership and a 1200land in golf village nearly one and of years back.so for no communication/confirmation from them.this to one more SATYAM -from hyderabad.
they are really cheating the public.govt.has to band this company and put the MD and HIS sons immediately behind bars.

The response of the managers in the company is too worst.
They wont feel responsible to the customers.
Please dont join this company .
If you join, then u will suffer a lot
I gave 190000 for plot and they didnot show the plot from the past 2 months.
I am calling them, but they are not responding.
It is one of the worst companies in the case of customer satisfaction

I am also a victim of CVI and lost more than a lakh. I am from a middle-class family and joined this club of my misfortune. Every day I am crying like anything and finding a way to get my money back. If anybody has an idea please let me know. Please...

My wife received a call from Mr. Sharma (called from[protected] and his personal mobile no. was said to be [protected]) of Country Vacations saying that we had won a lucky draw out of a coupon distributed in Kolkata Book Fair. We wre requested to collect our gift (a kitchen set and a travel voucher of Rs.25, 000) fro their office at Gajraj Chamber, 26B/2, topsia Road (South), Kolkata- 46. this will be given away in a program at 7 pm on 15 March (tomorrow). Somehow, I got suspicious and checked in this page. I am not going to attend the programme. What else should I do? Should I inform police?

I posted my comments a few minutes ago. After that I visited www.countryvacationsindia.com. I found the address and phone number of Kolkata office is slightly different from what I have learnt from phone call (May be it was mistake). I never found such an ill-spelt site. Spelling and grammar were completely alien in this site. Also there were some obsene photographs to show the pleasure they offer. Some feedback from members as I went through appeared to be fake.

this contry vations member ship is very very worst they are cheating people like any thing especially ladies why becouse they are calling couples for this main theame we males are some what know for cheating this concept but ladies i mean wifes are some what attracting their packages and real estate investment they are compriming and bliendly going for registration, i saved just now for not doing membership. governament should do something for this fake management.
