Hi,

We accord the highest priority to the health and safety of our consumers and would like to assure you that Nimbooz is 100% safe to drink for consumers of any age or gender. We would also like to provide you with the following facts:

1.There is absolutely no illness called "high bone fever".
2.Nimbooz is a juice-based drink made from purified water, nimbu juice, sugar and a permitted commonly used preservative to give you a product that is completely safe to consume.
3.PepsiCo uses only best quality food ingredients to manufacture all products and Nimbooz is made in state-of-the-art plants which are HACCP (a global food safety and quality certification) certified to deliver safe and contamination-free products.
4.Nimbooz is fully compliant with all the prevailing Food Safety Regulations laid down by Government of India.

These compnies follows the highest standards of material and process quality that i can confirm ( also there are government bodies keeping constant watch on this and laws too)and a strong believer, if you doubt on this drink then you have a good reason to doubt each & every drink sold in the country including one we mmake in our own house.

Friends, by going throught such unconfirmed hox mails & SMS s we are doing nothing but fooling ourselves, this is nothing but a mischivious job done by some one and that should be answered equally, we indians are meture inough to understand the right and wrong.-Jai Hind.

This guy is right, there is nothing called "High bone fever"...

CT2002: It's good you don't drink such things but please realize, we understand what's wrong and right for us, atleast related to food. This is not a law that you can enforce. Request you to keep your unsupported thought to yourself and not create panic
THESE ALL COMPANIES ARE LIKE "union carbaide, BHOPAL"! hA hA ha...
i think that in all the beverages we drink have some amount of toxicants mixed in them .even the preservatives added have slow poppison in them. so, without these adulterents, these beverages caanot be even made. so its a individual choice to consume it or not.
obviously its a hoax..
if there is any such virus which causes thise bone disease, where r d patients.
and this name is too dumb ??!!!
"high bone fever" ha ha hehe
one more thing.
i avoid this drinks coz purchasing 50 paise thing in 12 or 15 rupees is nothing but showing that u r a .
and these companies r making gud profit,
and indirectly making r economy weak, so better avoid these drinks.
why not purchase seasonal fruits????!!! in place of these. ohhh its cumbersome and u will loose ur personality. ttuttuttuttuttu.
jai hind
ya.. i have never heard of any patient having HBF..
so.. you cant trust these comments and surely cant ignore it completely..
so take your chance and let us know about it ;)
been confirmed by AIIMS, New Delhi...
Dr. YK Gupta, spokesperson of the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), denied knowledge of any claims made from AIIMS regarding HBF and said that a doctor from AIIMS cannot make such claims simply because ‘high bone fever’ does not exist. The story can be read at http://heal-india.com/, the website of Heal India, a health and family magazine. Some of the fraud messages had mentioned a certain Dr. Bajaj from AIIMS.

According to Dr. Shameem Aurora, “There is no such condition / illness called High Bone Fever. Therefore, this message is completely false. The message alleges that AIIMS has issued this warning which has been denied by AIIMS. The message also mentions that one can also get Thrombocytopenia, another name for lowering of the platelet count, which can occur due to Dengue fever. Dengue is known to be spread by mosquitoes, and certainly not by drinking Nimbooz. Nimbooz is absolutely safe for everyone’s consumption. My family enjoys it!” Dr. Aurora has worked with Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi as a medical officer and was in charge for various CGHS dispensaries in the Central Government Health Scheme in Delhi.

Also, Mala Banerjee, President of the Federation of Consumer Associations, West Bengal (http://www.fcawb.org) (FCAWB) said, “…On enquiry in different medical colleges and with medical experts, I came to know that there is no such medical term called HBF. Nothing is found like HBF in medical journal.” FCAWB is a Registered Federating Body under the Societies Registration Act and member of various ministries to the Govt. of India in the advisory capacity.
@ sourabhgupta and PEDARAM: How come you both have the same exact thoughts (using the same words) on this issue and managed to submit it together?

Various tests have shown that cancer cells develop in our bodies through the food and drinks we consume, so whether the Pepsis or Cokes of the world like it or not and make claims o[censored]sing clean facilities of production, they still use some kind of ingredients that ensure the extended shelf-life of their products, which are potentially harmful.

Anyway, I don't understand why should anyone consume packaged nimboo-pani anyway, when fresh at home is way better!!
I too have received couple of SMS's. Pepsico should seriously look into it and clear any doubts, They shoud immediately publish a report in print and electronic media. Best regards
AIIMS has also issued a letter saying that they have not issued any such warning. Click here to read.

I would rather Suggest/prefer not to go for these company drinks, better drink fresh Juice or have fruits. These companies are making money like anything without a big hazzle and we are happly giving our money to company like this (The money simply going out from India and growing some other Country). If you cant make your mind to avoid such a drinks and have a healthy you are runin your own Country slowely.
