[Resolved]  Air Deccan — Missing Baggage

I travelled from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore on 17 May 2008 on Air Deccan flight DN 765. After reaching Bangaore I realized that my baggage was missing.I have filed a PIR(Property Irregularity Report) at the Air Deccan baggage counter and they assured me that they will track my baggage and send it to my home within 7 days. They have given me a number for further follow ups.But even after 10 days I didnt got any call from Air Deccan and when I tried to call the number given by Air Deccan but the numer was switched off. Some how I managed to get the mobile phone number of one of the employe of Air Deccan's Missing Baggage handling division.When ever I calls him he is giving me an answer that he will check and will call me back.I am planning to take legal action against Air Deccan and its staff in this regard. This is a serious complain from a traveller who booked ticket for Air Deccan just by trusting fame and prestige o[censored].B. Group the famous Mallaya Group.

I was travelling from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad on 11/04/08 by flight No.DN 777 Time 6.10. At the Airport counter Ahmedabad To my utter surprise while waiting for my baggage to arrive at Baggage claim counter, their was no bag of mine coming. I did not receive my 1 bag. I lodge a complain to the Staff of Air Deccan at Ahmedabad air port but alas the reply came that their is chaos at New Shamshabad Airport, Hyderabad. They instead trying to find my bag calling different airport destination, declared their helplessness due to the misadministration at the Shamshabad airport..At Airport counter Shamshabad twice, thrice four times I requested the counter lady staff to allow me to keep my small 1 bag with me but to my frequent request she did not allow me.

This is a case of clear carelessness on the part of Air Deccan staff at the Shamshabad counter.They themself wrap a Deccan label to my bag and passed on the xray conveyer belt. We as a customer believe that there is every point of place at the airport, your staff should be there. Likewise at the end of that convery belt and taking it to the Aircraft luggage cabin your Air Deccan Staff must have done supervision.
It was a jute bag local made colour of it is a mix of blue-black with a label at the handle and label fixed on the bag having name and address written on it.

Take this matter urgent make your staff find the mssing baggage. I hope my trust on the Group will not fail.
