[Resolved]  Aircel — Money Fraud - With Roaming Data Plan

There is a BIG FRAUD Aircel is doing with their on-net free roaming plans. I have been using Aircel's 'Simple Value 499' plan since last couple of years. The reason I took this plan was that it has 1400 mins free (on-net local+roaming). While selling this plan they assured me that if Aircel network is available at any place in India then the roaming would be absolutely free (since the mobile will use Aircel's network and not any other service provider's network).

But since last 1 yr, they have disabled this facility on my SIM card. When I am in Maharashtra, I get Aircel network. But when I travel to Rajasthan or MP, I start getting Vodafone/Idea network even if the Aircel network is present in that area. I checked on 4 handsets, but result is the same. I am forced to use other networks (like Vodafone/Idea etc) due to which I have to pay heavy roaming charges.

I first reported this to their customer care on 11-Jan-2013. The CC person said this issue can't be resolved and passed call to supervisor SANAL. Sanal assured me that this will be fixed within 72hrs and created ticket 1-[protected]. He told me to call him on ([protected]) when in roaming. I called on that number couple of times next 2 days, but each time the person who picked call said that Sanal is not available. Meanwhile I had to return to Maharashtra (my home network) so I left the issue for time being.

Then again on 27-May-2013 I traveled to Udaipur, Rajasthan and faced the same issue. I reported this to Aircel and the CC person said that the ticket 1-[protected] is now closed and didn't give a reason why. When I insisted, they transfer the call to supervisor TEHSEEN. I explained her the complete issue for about 30mins (wasting my money since i was in roaming). She said SANAL has left the company and so the previous ticket cannot be reopened or resolved. She raised a new ticket 1-[protected] and assured that this problem will be solved in 72hrs (again).

I didn't get any call or resolution for 6 days and i called CC again on 6-JUN-2013. This time (again not surprisingly) the person told me that Tehseen is not in office and transferred the call to another supervisor SUWARNA. I had to again explain the complete problem to her (took another 30mins on roaming - money waste). She asked me to wait 24hrs and the issue will be resolved.

I patiently waited for 5 days and then called again today (12-JUN-2013) and this time (once again) the CC person said that Suwarna is not available and transferred call to Tehseen. This time her behavior was very very rude and she bluntly said that all the tickets I had raised have been CLOSED and that this issue will not be resolved. I will have to pay roaming charges whenever I am out of Maharashtra.

This is not acceptable at all. How is it possible that my SIM is not catching Aircel network (automatically or manually) when the full network is available in that area. This is a fraud Aircel company is doing to lure customer into buying their costly on-net roaming plans and then then bluntly refusing to keep their promise.

I want stern action to be taken against the Aircel and the above so-called supervisors.

Aircel — AIRCEL THE FRAUD....

I am really distressed to say this..."Aircel is the Fraud Company"...i had a real tough time with Aircel but not with other service providers...I would like to share my bitter experience with AIRCEL...

I purchased the 2 SIM cards "Neeyum Nanum offer" prepaid connection...within a month time..my line got disconnected because proof doesn't match...then i was asked to meet the aircel customer care centre to submit the Address proof again...i put leave to my office and submitted the proof...this happend 4 months before...again now...my line got disconnected without any intimatation...(yesterday only i recharged for Rs. 300)...i have given the number to some of my important top officials...this really made me more frustruation...

Now again i was asked to submit the proof...this is going to be the third time...i don't what the hell the Customer service they are giving...i called up the customer service...almost 20 mins...i was kept hold and disconnected the call...

Now what to do...i went to the wrong service providers...AIRCEL is really a pathetic service provider...i dunno what to do now...i am in coimbatore ...i dunno what to do...

I need to submit thhe case against...AIRCELL...PLS NEVER GO WITH AIRCEL..

I have aircell connection but internet service is not working inwindows mobiles, Ihave approached continously but no effects. Kindly can anybody guide me how to set internet in my windows mobile
Plz somebody help me, I want to give my land sitiuated at supaul for any telecom company for their commercial tower activities, I tried many telecom company in patna but I don't know why the repersentative of any telecom office didn't tell me that what's the procedure of tower agreement purpose, I have already registered on many telecom tower companies on their website where described that for purpose your land for tower purpose plz register with our companies but still I didn't get any response, plz any body tell me what should I have to do.
Why dont you contact the aircel nodal officers?

I tried all possible ways to connect and contact them before posting this complaints. But their customer facing team is pathetic to say the least. Anyways I have now moved to Idea (which is much much better I must say).
