[Resolved]  Airtel — 3G Internet service

Hi,

I'm using the 3G service of AIRTEL in my iPad from 4 months and it's internet service was fine up to the month of March but on April I recharged the 3G plan(Rs-750, 4GB) again but the internet service starting from this month was very poor below the range of 2G services.

In btw we heard the news that AIRTEL violating licence norms and court put some 350 crore of fine on them and ask to stop services from where they don't have license. And then I called call center and my first question is this is the reason that my internet is not working this month and they proudly said "SIR WE HAVE 3G SERVICES ALL OVER JAIPUR" as I'm from Jaipur. And then they asked me to check iPad settings etc and nothing works and then I called multiple times and they again ask me to check setting and some says sir signal is perfect which we can see from our system and some says sir be on line we transferred your call to senior executive and phone got disconnected(this is the case happened to me 2-3 times). And in the end I got the chance to talk to senior executive on 18-19th April and they registered my complaint and confirm me "SIR YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED BY 21st APRIL AND WILL SEND YOU A MESSAGE AS WELL" but after 21st service is still like a hell and I got no confirmation from them.

And at the end on 23-24 April I called him thrice and finally got the answer that sir we didn't have services at your current place (which is Jagatpura and Pratap Nagar) and guess what my assumption was correct (BANG ON) after heard about that news of violating licence norms but the call center executive didn't know what's going on their company. I like to mentioned one of the name I remembered ( Shailendra called as the senior executive).

My all business is based on Internet and due to their negligence I suffered a lot this month and when I asked them to return my money, their answer are Sir we're sorry but we can't return the money, why not? You have to mentioned in your website from where I recharged my internet that these are the area where we offered 3G service but nothing mentioned at all. This is a CHEATING..... WORST SERVICES( call center guys is not even know the difference between mobile and iPad).

GUYS BE AWARE OF THEIR SERVICES.

Internet — haven't got internet connection yet

This is regarding a complaint that we have not got the connection doen at our place in Jaipur as a person Named Mr. Rajesh has taken the money and Assured the connection in 5 days but nothing has been done yet from his side and i also got the number of Girija Jaha But he is not picking up the phone this person is sales cordinator of jaipur branch. Sir my parents are seniopr citizens and they are complaining again n again but no response and i also work in Delhi.
So please sir look in to the matter and respond

AirTel — poor service in net suffering

Dear sir,

I have a broadband connection from airtel My ID is [protected]_mp.

From last 1 week i cant run net in my computer because of poor data transfer & linking not properly in broadband.

I complained on your toll free no. But after 2 day this problem remain continuously. I suffer from 8 day due to poor services of airtel.

So i request to u pls do need full & give me the batter services.

Airtel — poor net service

hi. i have been really disappointed by airtel net services.they give this package of 98 rps for 2gb download valid for a month but every two minutes it gets disconnected.its really awful.never expected this kind of service from airtel and yeah when ever i try to talk to customer care representatives the call gets disconnected.what is this man it looks like representatives are more busy than the customers..really really disappointing...

Hi all,

Just want to share another story of phone call discussion between me and one of the representative of Airtel from Delhi, the name of that guy is Muzahir(may be I spelled wrong)

I like to mention few of the important points here:

1) First they call me and straightaway asked sir what is your problem then I replied didn't you read my complaint on consumercomplaint.in. I know Airtel is a big company and they have lots of guys to handle complaints but this shows their is no coordination between their staffs. Only what I want at-least you guys knows the problem before you call your customer and what you guys are doing is bad-bad customer support activities.

2) Second then I explain my problem that "From the month of March the signal strength is poor and the Internet speed is very slow like below the 2G". And they told me" sir your signal strength is poor OR Internet is not working" and then I replied same thing again and again. So did I tell something wrong to him? Both these things didn't happened at the same-time, c'mon guys fine-tune your knowledge base and then came back to me otherwise I will kick you.

3) And at the last they are start doing the discussion on 3G that didn't means Internet speed is fast. Then I just asked him a simple question as a common user that " 2G guys got the fast speed then 3G or viceversa". Then they smile and say sir 3G. So, shut up you ****hole don't ever start this crap with other users.

4) In the last when I asked him can you let me know that your 3G service is working on my area "Jagatpura" which is part of Jaipur. And I told him I know 3G service of Airtel is in Jaipur and it was working fine before but why not from March and your customer care guys explained sir in your area there is no 3G service and you need to go to some other place to access the Internet. But the Mr. Muzahir give me an example of Delhi that dwarka is a part of Delhi so it dosen't means there is different 3G service in Dwarka and 3G service is same in all over Delhi so it should work on Jagatpura too as it's a part of Jaipur. So, one guy told me there is no access and other give me 100% surety that there is an Internet access for sure.

So, guys please aware of such painful services. I don't know on what agenda this company are working and can grows when their main base of customer support is such a pain for their customers.
