Hi,
I had been billed 300 INR for shift of landline that never happened. I cancelled the request for shifting 2 days after the request and they complied with it - nobody came to shift the connection since I cancelled it. But, they billed 300 INR for shifting the landline connection despite no shifting having ever occured.
Next, I cancelled the connection and they said clearly on the phone that they would not bill me beyond 6th September, although my connection was disconnected on 3rd September. I did not bother since it is just 3 extra days; but, when the bill came, they have billed me until 13th September, which is ridiculous.
When I send them an email raising these issues, they send me back a reply saying something like, "Your current bill outstanding is Rs. XYZ and you need to pay it before DD/MM/YY". It looks like they never bother to check the complaint and reply and instead simply issue an auto-generated emails in reply.
How can I get this problem resolved? Though the amount is small, this is making a fool of customers, and I would like to escalate it to whatever level is possible.
