[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel Broadband+Iptv Complaint

I am using Airtel Iptv+Broadband Combo from past 2 years. But due to unavailability of good plans in Iptv+Broadband Combo, I opted to get this connection disconnected in the month of Feb-12. Here is when the whole story starts. I started receiving calls from Airtel asking that why I want this to be disconnected. I told them that the combo plan that they are offering have a speed capping at 5GB which is not sufficient for me & I told them that if they can provide a combo plan without capping than I can go ahead and keep this connection. After that I constantly received calls from the Retnetion Department which keep on telling me about the different plans for Broaband but they said that there is no Combo for IPTV & Broadband.

After a day or 2 I again received a call from Retention Department that the best they can offer is a broadband only plan of 1699/month in which they will provide 4Mbps speed and capping at 75 GB and for IPTV, I will have to pay 299/month extra. After confirming the plan offered to me twice I opted for this plan.

The main problem starts here...As promised by the retention department, my brodband was migrated to 1699 plan successfully but my IPTV was not started. When I called customer care for this, they told me that my existing IPTV account will have to be suspended and a new IPTV account will be created over my Broadband connection and this will take 3 working days and I will have to pay a sum of Rs. 750 for reactivation. After some heated argument with the customer care gut over the payment of the Reactivation fees, I agree for that and waited for 3 days but no response. I again called customer care and now the guy told me that I will have to pay Rs. 500 for activation and it will be done in 3-5 working days. Again I agreed and waited for 5 days but still no response..I again called customer care and now the guy told me that because of some reason my earlier request was not forwarded so he will log a new complaint and it will take 5 working days and I will have to pay Rs. 100. The request number of this complaint was 13171336.

Today after 7 days when I called customer care again, the guy named Sanjay with id 94392455 spoke very rudely and said that getting my IPTV activated is not possible and it will not be done. When I told him that all other guys said me different things he said that I am not concerned with others and said that this is not possible....When I asked him to transfer the call to some senior person he said that I am the seniormost person and will not transfer the call to anybody and even denied providing me the Nodal Officers Name and Email Address....

I would like the people here to get in touch with Airtel and resolve my issue
