[Resolved] Airtel — AIRTEL DO NOT ACCEPT PORT OUT | |||
I gave a PORT OUT request from airtel to idea network on 20/6/2012 for my number xxxxxxxxxxxx. The number was withheld as it was told by you through phone conversation that ' It was withheld as i gave you customer executive a response that i am porting out due to problem in your network', and told me to try a PORT OUT on 3rd july when my UPID would expire. i gave the request again on 7/7/12 and had forward that to IDEA. Now I wanted a trouble free porting with in 7 days to IDEA. I told ur customer care that i am not having network on my workplace & home, when network is not available where its needed what should i do, keeping my number in your network and don't make calls. Again! I gave a PORT OUT request to my other number xxxxxxxxxxxx2 to IDEA hence my first number was not ported on 20/6/2012, i thought of keeping it on airtel again with out waiting till 03/07/2012 to get a unique porting id for my number xxxxxxxxxxxx. i gave request on 28/6/2012 for xxxxxxxxxxxx to port to IDEA. I received a call back from airtel asking for the reason for PORT OUT, i told them i don't have any complaint and just wanted to switch to IDEA due to personal reasons. but till now its not yet ported. i called ur customer rep. and he told me that they are not getting any details there and asked me to contact airtel office. you know that before this 3 months back i had a problem in recharge for number xxxxxxxxxxxx, i contacted the airtel office first and they responded that it was because i ented wrong 14 digit number during recharge and it tool 85 days for my problem to be solved after calling you twice in between and speaking to senior technical team of customer care.. whenever we have any serious problems and we calls customer care the response is 'Sorry Sir, as we are having a techical problem (or system is busy) we are not able to get your details , any ways we are taking your complaint and will be solved in 48 hours' or' kindly please contact your nearest airtel office, and the address is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX' Is Airtel making a habit always causing TROUBLE to customers. AirTel — Airtel Not porting out the number to Idea
I had requested for an MNP from Airtel to Idea (Mob:[protected]). They rejected my request on some Contractual Obligations.I had requested them 3-4 times but they were giving same reasons.It has been around 40 days still they had not ported my number.I m having network problem at my home.What should be done now.Airtel — NOT PORTING OUT
Dear Sir,My cell no is [protected]. my name is Ramesh and unique porting id is AM296417 dated 26th August 2011. i applied for MNP from Airtel to another network on 27th August 2011 and air tel has received it on 9th Sept 2011. on 14th Sept i received sms stating that my application is rejected by airtel due to the subsisting contractual obligation. I am a user of Air tel from last 6 years and from last 6-7 months i am frustated by this service provider beceuse o[censored]n necessary deducting money from my account,unlimited and unwanted SMS and thie service provider is harrasing and sucking customers money every day. Because of which i have applied for change from Air tel to some other service provider and now he is again harrasing us by not porting out. Government has given this facility so that Customer has right to shift from one service provider to another is some one is not giving beter service so how AIR TEL can regect our request? My number is Pre paid number which means i am paying first and then i am using AIRTELs service so the reason is completely nonsence reason. If AIR TEL is not in a position to provide service then why some body to continue his service.Government should take strict action against these type of srvice providers. If AIR dont have money then they should sit and beg instead of sucking money from customers. I want My number to be ported out any how

AirTel — My Porting Request to airtel is not accepted
I want to port my virgin no to airtelI had given my documents to nearest airtel outlet on 11th june. I got new sim and the executive said that my no will port in 7 to 8 days. Now 14 later when i contact airtel costumer care they said that there is no request for porting my no becoz my documents are not given to airtel by outlet.
Now i m in trouble what to do
