[Resolved] Airtel — DVR not working | |||
am AirTel DTH subscriber since 2010 subscription ID [protected]. Couple of months back I upgraded to HD Recoder. Everything was working as expected till last week when I realized stop, pause, recording is not working and also have lost all previous recordings. I called customer care on Sunday Jan 29 SR 15825146 and was promised issue will be fixed in 24hrs. Next day I received a call from engineer saying leave DVR on, l left DVR on but issue was not fixed. I called back customer care on Tuesday and to my surprise I was told SR is closed as issue is resolved. I asked for escalation and next SR 15864423 was opened on 31/01/12 again after 24hr engineer did visit but issue was not resolved. As per engineer they will have to change DVR. They closed 2nd SR as well without fixing problem. Finally on calling back 3rd SR 15939518 was opened on 3/2/2012. Now they started story of DVR out of stock. In between I get a call from [protected] some lady saying I need to pay for engineer visit + 1000INR as DVR replacement. This is something new why should I pay for replacement. It's just 2+ months since I paid 3500 for upgrade to DVR and now to fix problem they are asking me to pay. Had I known this in beginning I would not have thought of going with Airtel. I am still waiting for the solution. I had received a call from Someone by name Roopkiran from [protected] on Monday at around 1:15PM mentioning issue resolved and he will get back to me by evening but as usual neither the issue got resolved nor did i receive any call back. Today again I called your nodal office and then received a callback at around 12:22 from [protected] mentioning he is from escalation team and assured engineer will visit today evening to replace the box and resolve issue. But unfortunately nothing happen. I did receive call from your vendor Keshav enterprises saying they have not received stock. So issue still continues to be same. Even after 10 days, some 4+ SR’s & N number of calls issue is not resolved.
I will wait till tomorrow morning before taking next action.
