Airtel — Outgoing blocked | |||
I had converted my prepaid plan to post paid just 20 days back and submitted all documents to Airtel Mansarovar office, bhopal. Now day before yesterday I got a sms from company that submit the documents in 2 days or your outgoing services will be discountinued. Now my outgoing services has been discuntinued. I am not able to understand if I have already submitted the documents than: 1 why should I resubmit all documents again. 2 Or if there is any correction in form than why local office did not informed me timely. When I complaint on 121, their executive again suggested me to submit all documents again, my problem is that I am on tour for 1 week to Bhilai, chattisgarh and do not carrying Address and identity proof. I am not able to make any outgoing calls even SMS to contact my family and others. No STO PCO available nearby and after 9 PM all shops get closed. I dont understand where should i contact and how will i manage for next 1 week. Regards it this and my complaint is that why should I give documents if i have already submitted it just 20 days back.given Was this information helpful? | |||

sir, I was using Airtel Prepaid connection for last two years. I converted my connection to postpaid using same number along with six of my collegues with unlimited CUG. We submitted all relevant documents to your Excutive Mr.Abdul ([protected]) on 09 Aug 08. Our post paid connection were activated from 11 Aug 08.My Outgoing calls were blocked from 20 Aug 08. I was told by customer care that my Residential adderess was not correct. I submitted my Ration Card as my Address proof and my company identity card as my Identity proof which has my old address. The person who came for the enquiry, enquired in my old address. I informed customer care and to Mr Abdul who might have wrongly placed my identicard as my address proof in place of my Ration Card. Till to date both the sources failed to solve my problem even after i am ready to prove my residential address.When I contacted Airtel customer care, I was told to apply for new connection which is not possible at this moment as i used my No. for my profession. My business gets affect as i do visit Ships at anchorage were no other communication other than my mobile.There is no fradulant connection as i was using the same no. as prepaid, even you can take reference from my collegues who has CUG with me.
