Airtel Broadband — Frequent Disconnections , No Resolution for the more than one month and No Answer from CS

I applied for an Airtel Broadband Connection end of July. From day one I had frequent disconnections. I called customer support and after repeated attempts to reach them and have someone come .. No one came. After a week or so they sent me a Bill. I called up and asked why the bill is sent plus the connection is getting disconnecting 10 - 15 times every hour. They told their main server was down and that its resolved .. so should not be any problems henceforth.

But my problem persisted. I tried filing a complaint several times .. but they never solved the issue and told the next time when I called the issue is resolved. I told I should tell that ... its NOT resolved. After that they never respond to my questions or hang up when I call or just say within 24 hours it will be resolved. I wrote to the appelate authority and Customer Support but got no response still!!!!

I went to the Head Office and tried speaking to all the authorities ... They say there is a problem with all my 8 systems and my modem.. but the connection is fine!!!!! I am not getting any resolution but bills are sent to my home.

AIRTEL customer support is ruthless poorly mannered and poorly trained. Most of their representatives do NOT know Enlish and will respond irrelevantly. Fed of calling them numerous times and being hung up when they din know answers we went to the Airtel Head Office here in Coimbatore.

We met three managers who claimed to be for Collections , Operations and Technical BUT did nothing to solve the issues. The name of the Managers are Eeswaran , Pravin and engineers who came numerous times were Karthik , Elango , Gopi none of them who solved the problems. They gave informations like it's problem with their cable first then they told am connecting multiple systems and that so on and so forth.

They block several competitive sites like iconnect ( Airtel provides VOIP ) and also lot of websites do NOT open with Airtel. They refuse to accept they block the VOIP BUT THEY DO BLOCK. If you give them properly they unblock and you can use VOIP!!!!! Finally one engineer told they block VOIP but if you put this DNS it will work but do not give the DNS Out!!!!!!

They refuse to solve the problem or disconnect my connection. I spoke to the Zonal Manager too but with no resolution still. !!!! Can somebody adress this and resolve it for me??

Dear sir,

I have regesterd to get Airtell broadband connection on 29.08.08 and payed also, my Regesterd case number is 931508 not yet got connection- 15 days back they told us we not able to give you connection due to some airtel connection feselity problem but we not yet got our money back .

We request you to take immd action to refound our money,
