Hi, Even I am facing this frequent disconnect problem from the last month, and also checked with my colleagues, all are facing this problem in chennai location, if not atleast in chennai adyar location.
the temporary solution is, I hve created an app which will always see for running internet connection and if the net disconnects it will beep in, after that just restart your modem (or call your mobile number (missd call) from your airtel landline, 2 to 3 times). basically the idea is making ur signal connection alive by using ur landline connection.
If this solution doesnt work ping me back, wll suggest you someother solutions. Calling customer care wll not solve this prblm, they will just answer the call and follow SLA and then end it.. otherwise they will play their same slogan - underground cable cut across over seas... use less

I'm also facing the same problem and the same frustration that calling customer support doesn't help. Their technical persons are eager to visit you but don't have any solution apart from resetting or replacing your modem. Please suggest a solution.

Even I am facing the same problem. I live at Bangalore Banaswadi and of late the connection here is getting poor.
On contacting the customer care, I was only directed to change the ip address to a manual one. The main concern was not addressed.
I do not believe in resorting to tantrums at all, but the frustration caused sometimes leads that way. Let's hope the airtelpresence people address this properly
What's amazing is that in the time I wrote this, the connection cut off twice. It's a real hindrance to work.
