[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Excess billing but not taking any action | |||
My account no. is 15907562 I had written earlier on AIRTEL about : False promise on connection and delay in installation after collecting money in advance. Not giving ISD connection along even after mentioning in applcation Not taking request for registering for NDNC Now also fraudulent activities and false promises continue: Sending a bill which shows calls even before installation Not ready to take action even after raising the complaint within the specified TAT. When asked for escalation putting on long hold of 10-15 minutes and then disconnecting the line. Was this information helpful? | |||

I had aslo moved to a 2mbps speed connection from this month, but the speed now is less than 1mbps. Once the complaint was registered one lady called saying she is AIRTEL Back end and put me on hold. She was not ready to give her name and what for the call was for.

As there was no response from the Nodal Officer, I had atken up the billing issue with "Appellate Authority". The call was attended by one Mahalakshmi, instead of taking up the complaint she was argumenting on the office hours and was giving wrong information that the nodal officer working hours is mentioned in the bill and would be there in the mail acknowledgement given by Nodal officer. When i read out what is written in the bill, she instead of correcting herself says it is there in the website.
First she said the complaint will attended "now", then "immediately" and finally said "you will get a call by 6.30pm today".
AIRTEL has wrong processes and systems and instead of correcting them their officials push back the complaints back to customers who made the complaint.
This itself shows these are deliberate one and they do not want to resolve the complaints.

Today I got a call from [protected], saying that there is no such calls whcih are billed into my statement prior to the installation date of 15th July. I gave the details of the calls billed for 8th July with the numbers to which the calls are made. But he is refusing that there is no such calls.
Even after 5 days of raising the complaint, Airtel is not rectifying the defects in their bill. Issue had been taken up even with Appellate Authority but no resolution till this day.
