[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — irrelevant billing | |||
Dear Concerned I had taken up an airtel broadband connection with the 1099 plan. I had already requested to surrender my a/c as I was going to be away for two months and had no interest in maintaining the connection till then. Just about a week later, I got a call from airtel itself that they have Rs. 250/- plan that provides 25 hrs of internet free for a month and this they were going to provide me free of cost for the next two months as I am a “Golden Customer” and they do not want to lose the a/c. All this said and done, I started getting texts from airtel about a Rs. 540/- outstanding and a renewal of website builder in a few days that will again be charged Rs. 250/- (I had been told at the time of the activation that it’s a free service and will get deactivated the moment I get my plan cancelled to a lower value and that I need to take it up separately on payment later). I had clearly mentioned at every step, even the confirmation call for the plan transfer that I am not going to pay even a penny in these two months and am ready to do whatever that takes and they responded in affirmative. Now, If you cannot keep up to your commitments to your customers please stop advertising so. I would just like to put it clearly that, I am not going to shell out a single penny for this problem created by your team and would like to clear my name out of it. I have Applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 6th May 2011 CEF NO. TBLR 239290. I received message and call for the availability of connection on my area. After submitting my Docs and money on 6th i was following continuously with the sales and customer Service. Every time they used to give unnecessary excuses. Today when I called customer care then I come to know that my request has been canceled.
This is Second time they have did this. Is Airtel used to keep customer money in their account and making money like this then I am sorry to say but I need the money back with the interest for days they kept my money on their account.
I humbly request Mr. Bharti please monitor your management team from top to bottom. If customer will not happy with the service how can company will grow. Its now really a competitive market in this service industry, customer have hundred of option to choose from.
From now no complains for Airtel Broadband because I will never go for AIRTEL.
