Hi I have applied for the broadband connection on 9th January 2009. Ny application number is 163083. I have called airtel couple of times but still no reponse is avaialable. Mt compliant number is 15869876. The person resposnible for providing broadband in Indiranagar is Suresh -- [protected]. I am calling this person from airtel atleats 10 times a day but he is not picking uo the call. I have paid refundable deposit Rs. 500 and installation amount Rs. 500/- but even this has not been returned. Was this information helpful? | |

Me too the same case
Airtel is providing very funny service sometimes. Mostly sales person come and collect the application with money and don't submit the form. These people have incentive programs and targets. So if they already got enough for the month, they wont submit the form that month itself and will try to keep it for next month incentive.. By rule, they have to submit the applications by the end of the day. So you can check the status calling customer care and make sure they submitted the form.
If they don't submit the form its high priority fault, so they might say they will revert back in 1 day and give a turn around time exactly with seconds :) But they never call back. So have to call them again next day and ask to send it for escalation. Usually they don't escalate a problem by themself( I don't know why, might be they just don't care). Now escalation team will give you some time. Call them back after that time and ask for manager and try to get number of nodal office as soon as possible as this team just say us they will reply back and wont reply too ;)
Anyway until the sales person don't give the application they won't do anything. My application was with sales person for around 6 days with 3297 rupees and all they did was cut Rs 400 from his salary ;) Some more profit for Bharati Airtel...
Anyway personally I am planning to go back to bsnl as they never was so bad like this. Even JTO and all used to call me back and let me know the status. In airtel, even customer care people are with ego and will say to you "Why you calling so often, it might be having various technical issues" even when they don't know where is my application itself ;)
