[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Bill generated after disconnection of number [protected] | |||
Hi I was using airtel broadband, and I have placed a disconnection request on 28 september 2010. After that it was disconnected and I am not using it. My bill cycle was 17 to 16. For the usage of 17 sept 2010 to 28 sept 2010 they generated bill of Rs. 1209 on 17th Oct 2010 and I payed it. Now bill for oct 2010 of Rs 1874 also generated on 19th Oct 2010 and sent to me. But the connection was closed in sept 2010 so how the next bill is generated for me. In Airtel self care account is showing now active but it was closed after my disconnection request and only the bill of Rs 1209 was generated for my usage before disconnection date. Please take care of this isssue ASAP. Please contact me in case of any clarification. Hi,
I have got several calls from Airtel that it has been resolved.and all past dues has been corrected to 0. But in selfcare portal it is showing me last month bill dues and account is active. So could you please let me know when it will be corrected. I think your systems are not in sync.

As per Airtel presence response I was thinking the issue has been resolved. But, from yesterday I am again getting calls from Airtel for bill due. I got the below mail from airtel yesterday for full and final settelment. I have no dues. I paid all bills regularly. connection is closed in August 2010 and called person is saying bill is for october 2010. He was also saying you can not pay the bill in Airtel Outlet and you have to pay it to the persone which he is sending for bill collection.

Airtel Broadband — A BILL after Disconnection
Hi,I am a Airtel Broadband Customer # 15319597 recently shifted to new residence and requested to shift my Land Phone & Broad Band Connection on 15th April 2010. Then Airtel wanted us to pay the outstanding for performing the transfer. After doing so, there was no response for couple of days.
Later on when we contacted it was a New transfer complaint all-together. Well, they registered and gave a new tracking id. It continued to couple of more days without any response.
Finally, during the 1st week of May, when we contacted the Airtel call center, they say that the junction box is 350 meters away from our residence building. We requested for cancellation immediately.
Now, comes a Bill #[protected] of Rs. 720 to be paid for a period of 25th April to 26th May.
Please suggest me as what can be done with this Greedy act of Bharti Airtel Ltd.?
