[Resolved] Airtel Broadband Jaysoft — poor customer care | |||
i went to Airtel Landline Showroom (Jaysoft) in II Avenue, Anna Nagar & enquired about broadband. I wanted them to check feasibility in my area before taking the application. They said it is feasible & took the application, ID proof, address proof & installation charges of 650/= (cheque). After a few days, when I contacted them in the Jaysoft Anna Nagar office, they say it is not possible to give the connection and asked me to contact the customer care to request for cancellation. Why is Airtel not verifying feasibility taking up the application? When I called the customer care I came to know that my name has been wrongly registered at their end. In spite of giving ID proof, the name has been entered wrongly. What is the use of giving ID Proof & the application. I gave requests for change in name to get the refund cheque in correct name. In the meanwhile, they had realised my cheque & got the money. It is nearly 2 months since I applied & still I haven't got the refund. Though the customer care accept requests, they immediately set it to closed without giving actual resolution. My name is not set correct so far also I didn't get the refund. Whenever we call the hotline number, there is no proper response from the team. The airtel hotline is only accessible only from limited places & every time I go to the Anna Nagar showroom, there is a big queue & each customer on the phone having heated up conversation with the customer care.c Was this information helpful? | |||
