[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Releasing a WIFI Modem which cannot connects more than one laptop

I took a Broadband service from airtel on the plan , Pay for five months and get a wifi free on a Broadband plan, when i got the connection the connection guy said the wifi wont be available as a firmware was not ready for my BEETEL 450TC2 WIFI Modem. I asked him then please change the modem which has no problems. after frequent calls its almost a month now no way near I can connect only one laptop remaining i need to perform a manual LAN cable connection.Even people come to make it fix on the end of the day they say sir Sorry the firmware is yet to release ....:(

Bharti Airtel Limted — Do not give my security ,adjust my remaining stock

I was the Airtel distributour of Mohindergarh . I hadbeen left at that position since 31-july-2008 .From that time the company does not refund my security and adjust my remaining stock. I called them many of time but they do not take any strict action.I had also handover my remaining stock to their office which was in Rewari .The head of Rewari office i.e. AmitKosal . had sold my given stock in the market but he does not agree with and does not pay my paymet .

Frequently the line got disconnected. We are dissatisfied with this poor performance. We are planning to disconnect the same.

hello this to inform you that i get activated mobile office on my mobile model number micromaxq3.this is a service from airtel to use interner on laptop through ur mobile .there is s continuos problem using it.i tiried the customer care number many times but i can never get a satisfactory result .please do something for solving my problem.

Airtel — Taken 10 days!! to get their engineer to come and fix Broadband connection problem

I had lodged a complaint with their customer care number +[protected] complaining connection not working on 30 July 2011. After following up they sent an engineer who said wireless modem supplied by them is not working and to change it at my expense. I got another modem next day and informed them and many of their customer call attenders, over several days, tried configuring it on phone and promised to send engineer when they could not. The Engineer is yet to come as I write this. They have escalated it to their floor Manager twice and he has promised to make it priority 1 two days ago, and to send engineer. Twice the engineers called and asked for address and did not turn up. Have followed up more than 10 times and have spoken to a a host of customer reps. All the records are there on their computer. They said yes, we are very sorry for the inconvenience, we will make sure it is attended to ASAP.
Nothing has come of it.
This after going through their 198 routine of press 1 for this and 2 for this etc and then waiting for their call to be routed to the Manager, when the line disconnects!
It has taken a lot of patience from my side and all the conversations are recorded apparently, but still no
resolution of the complaint.
They give complaint numbers but there is no follow up. I have told them , I don't need another complaint number, just to ensure my connection is working!!! Nothing as yet.
The Customer care cannot do anything and the service engineers to whom they have putsourced this job of checking on site have not come, in spite of them responding and saying them are coming in 20 and 30 minutes!
I have again made two calls as of now and not results although it has been promised to be attended to immediately.
I have also told them to inform their billing section to ensure this lack of connection from their end is not billed. no reply.
is there anyway for me to get this resolved? Can some thing be claimed for business loss and inconvenience caused?

I'm your customer from last 7 yrs. You hv always provided best services to us.
But this time I'm facing great trouble .I hv made request for the change of my
wi-fi router 4-5 times but no action hs been taken yet .Pls take necessary actions

Exact same issue, where I have to connect using lan for a wi-fi modem . Your guys have clearly asked me to buy a modem as this beetel 450TC2 has known issues which cannot be fixed until beetel provides a firmware( which will not happen in near future). I want to ask one thing - If you know this information why do you cheat people by giving this modem ?

I am also facing similar issue with airtel wifi router Beetel 450 TC2.

I moved from BSNL to AIRTEL and had to pay 3 months advance bill this modem .
But the WIFI router is working only with one laptop .
I too had faced the same issue with 450TC2 and due to this I was not using the wifi option at all. Recently after raising a complaint they have updated the firmware, but the wifi coverage is very weak and the signal keep fluctuating even within the same room. The maintenance people said they can replace it with a refurbished modem. But I requested for a new replacement modem as the connection was taken within 2 months, but till now no one has attended it. I keep getting messages like your complaint would be resolved by this time, but no resolution yet.
Just to add to the above: I have this connection in Bangalore. And the last complaint for new modem was registered on 29th Mar.

I have recently purchased the same modem from your shop at Nehru Place. Again for the improper firmware, the modem does not have many security options for WiFi. Can you guys help me out or replace my modem with beetel 450TC1 as it works well with your system...I am using this modem with MTNL connection.

I have a similar problem, Beetle 450 TC2, and frequent disconnection. The engineers from Pune office came couple of times and claim to have made some wiring changes etc, the connection worked well uninterupted for three days and again the same problem.

I had a BSNL connection using the same modem and changed to AirTel expecting better services & speed, while the internet speed is good its of no use because of frequent disconnections.

I got the connection on 26th May, and since than almost every alternate day I have to call local airtel service engineers, its become a headache.

I was buy Beetel 450TC1, but my modem all ready connected with ADSL but Not enable to access Internet on my Computer, i was call to customer care than they asking go to service center but dont have service center in my City, And another service center far from me around 100 Klm from me so i feel very bad with Bharati Airtel Modem
