[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Sales agent cheated | |||
I was planning to apply for a new Broadband connection in Noida. I raised a request through their website on 28th Mar 2012. A guy called Sachin (Ph- [protected]) contacted me,got the form filled up (CEF No.[protected], took Rs. 500 cash from me as security deposit and promised that the connection would be there by 31st Mar. I told I need it urgently as my office work is getting hampered. He told that it should be done by 31st March at any cost as it is their year-end and he has to complete his targets. Now 6 days gone by, not a single call from Airtel regarding the connection or the form. I have already landed into a great mess with no internet connection at home. Tried calling up the customer care at Airtel, first they were not ready to register any complaint as initially they said it takes 3 days, then they said it takes 5 days and finally they said it takes 7 days to get a connection. Finally after lot of deliberation , they took my complaint promising it to be resolved by today morning, but same situation prevails. Please help me in getting this resolved as I am fed up with the fraudulent services and promises made by the esteemed organization. I have sent 5 emails to these ids [protected]@airtel.in, pallavi1.[protected]@airtel.in, care.[protected]@airtel.i, called Airtel customer care a million times now, but my issue is not resolved.
I have tried all possible means and informed Airtel about my issue but as expected my issue is not resolved. All big corporations are the same, they don't care for small fish. They don't give a damn that someone has been cheated of thousands of rupees.
Prove me wrong and solve this issue

Airtel Broadband — Airtel agent cheated me
I am a resident of Mehrauli, New Delhi. I requested Airtelfor a new internet broadband connection via their online contact form. I got a
call from Airtel office saying that Airtel agent will call me. So a man by the
name of Rahul whose phone number is [protected], called me and came to my
residence on 13th Nov. I opted for the 1099 plan and handed him cash of Rs
4900 for installation and wifi router charges (Totally refundable he said).Rahul said that engineers will come on 14th Nov to install the modem and wifi. They did not come so I called up Rahul who said that I need to deposit another Rs 5,000 as the plan I signed up for is no longer available. I told him
I would like to cancel my registration and that he must return my money. He
said he will come on 15th Nov 5 pm to return the money. But he never showed up
and now his phone number does not work - it's switched off!.
I called up Airtel on 121 but the agents Piyush and his manager Salman could
not help me as my details are not in the system they said. Now how can my
details be ever in the system when it's clear that Rahul is posing as an Airtel
agent and cheating people.
I have the yellow Airtel registration forms but it does not have a CEF number.
Please help me out.
