[Resolved] Airtel Broadband Services — Settlement of broadband internet bill for landline [protected] | |
I was using the airtel 499 Combo plan with 1GB of free DSL usage with 2Mbps speed. The bill generated for 10days o[censored]sage was 6740. Airtel has recorded very high DSL usage for 5 out of these 10 days charging me 1200 per day. The DSL usage split up which has been shown in the bill is highly impossible. I had raised a complaint regarding this around 1.5 months back. I had called airtel customer care multiple times explaining them that the DSL usage cannot be so high and requesting them to look into the issue. They had closed the complaint without my knowledge saying that I had accepted to pay the bill. I again raised another complaint to which they had called me on 26th Feb 2009 and agreed to give me a waiver of 70% and said that it will be reflected in my next bill. I was told that the bill is settled and it was confirmed from their side. I called the customer care to confirm the same and they responded saying that system is not yet updated to reflect the change. After calling them again I got a response that they have rejected the waiver request. I have been calling them multiple times but they are not ready to make a settlement on this issue.
