You can type UNSUBS CRI and send the SMS to the number 536363.
Got a confirmation SMS from Cricket club that I have been unsubscribed. Posting this hint after several trials since BSNL cricket club sms service had merely sent details to activate the service and nothing about de-activating it. This is against good consumer practice. I hope several readers will take note of this and file a PIL against this service .

I got message at my mobile [protected] to live update cricket at Rs. 5 per day which I have never subscribed and don't want that also. Pls arrange to unsubscribe and credit the amount. I have been facing such kind of problem from AIRTEL regularly for various subscription for which I have never subscribed. Pl do it urgently otherwise I have no option but to switch over to other Operator and will complaint in TRAI or other concerned authorities as to how AIRTEL are cheating their customers.

I have been receiving a shower of cricket updates which i have not subscribed for and while searching ways to unsubscribe this irritating menace i came to know that i was being charged(without my knowledge, as it goes without saying).If others share this issue please write so on the forum, I am planning to file a PIL after taking it up with my lawyer.The marketing calls will also find mention in the PIL.I am also in the process of finding ways to appeal to TRAI.Any suggestions would be welcome.

AirTel — Unsubscription of Cricket Pack

I am a client of Air Tel having connection number [protected] since 01 May 2003 and enjoying excellent service until recently. However, on 17 Feb 2011 I received an SMS thanking me for subscribing to Cricket pack @ Rs 5/- per day, for which facility I had NEVER opted for. My constant endeavour to unsubscribe the facility through Customer Care or by dialling *321*618 have not borne fruit thus far. It is requested that Air Tel may be pressed upon to unsubscribe this unwanted facility on my mobile connection [protected].

Yes same with me...but I found a solution...during world cup i got message that i am activated under crickrt pack and for 1 week my inbox was filled with messsages of scores which was not promt and not good.
I never subscribed. After a week I get message my free trial period will be over after 3 days and I would be charged Rs 5 per match. I was schocked and surprised I called airtle no. and they kept holding me...1 for hello tunes...2 for something..3 for cricket ...press the right no. and I got fed up and disconnected!...
Somehow my Dad called airtle guy and unsubscribed this hedious thing.

Now when IPL has started again same thing. I have read 121 is toll free sms where people can unsubscribe,

Still am not sure they wont charge for the smss. Airtel are sure cheaters, guys don't use airtle, this is not the irst time they are troubling, with mobile provability just stiff to better operator having your same number
