[Resolved] Airtel — recharge through net banking | |
Hello Sir/Madam I recharged my Airtel prepaid account through online net banking for Rs.333 on my cell no. [protected]. but my cell didn't get credited even... customer service executive told me that, "we will credit Your amount in your bank account. but still i didn't get that amount in my bank acount. i hv been recharging my airtel prepaid thru mah icici a/c since long now...n i wz quite vd dis service...bt now a dfays since a month veneva m recharging mah fone thru icici netbanking it doesnt gt credited and aftr 2 days amt gets back on a/c...why is it nt getting recharged..plz suggest

i want to recharge my airtal card of 777 top up by my sbi net banking
I recharged my prepaid phone through net banking - 333 on 14/06/10. My ICICI account got debited and next day I got a message from Airtel (without any transaction id) that 'your recharge request has been successfully processed'. But I never got 333 credited to my phone.
On 15/06/10- I made a call to Airtel customer care - service request no, [protected] - they said it takes 72 hours. I wiated and nothing happended.
On 19/06/10 p I again made a call (the call was transferred by a customer care executive to higher up)- service request no.,[protected], and I was told that my recharge request will be processed 'for sure'by 21/06/10. I waited and nothing happened.
On 28/06/10, I again called and enquired. I was told that the account has already been credited to my account. When I argued it has not happened, my call was transferred to so called higher up. Where I was treated rudely and told that I have never made any such transaction!!!
I strongly feel that Airtel customer care is highly incompetent in handling customer and that they are making business by charging customer but not fulfilling the request. Imagine 333 x crores of customers!
Has anybody got into such case and got it resolved?
I am going to drag this guys to consumer court for sure..
