[Resolved]  Airtel — Postpaid connection issue

I have recently switched my prepaid connection to postpaid connection (plan name : ALC MM 149 (MB) GPRS 199 Rental Unlimited download and surfing.
I work for TCS E-Serve and Airtel representatives were distributing the schemes pamphelets for our employees.
Since I am a Airtel prepaid customer from last 4 years I thought of switching the plan.
After I submitted all my documents (valid) it was scrutinized by the Airtel representative and then after all the verification checking my line was activated.
Documents submitted were: 1) Residence proof. 2) Sim card xerox (Prepaid). 3) Company ID Xerox 4) 1 Photograph.
I was able to make calls for 3 days and suddenly one fine day my connection was stalled for documentation reasons.
I called your Airtel customer service (121) which seems to be filled with ego-centric people who don¿t have courtesy to listen to the customers on their queries.
Next day I called the Airtel representative ( Praveen ¿ [protected]) and told him about the issue and in reply he told me that he will solve it asap.
I waited for 3 days and then Praveen told me that his work was done and he cant do anything now as my documents were not found in the database and he had no clue what was happening.
He also told me that his superiors are also looking into this matter and he told me to speak to his manager Zainab who works in Airtel main office in Goregaon (e) location Silver building.
I am sure people like Praveen do this kind of job as they are trained to do so.
They meet their targets and don¿t bother if the customer can really use the service which Airtel is providing.
I am not sure if there is any policy which mentions that if the documents are not correct then the Airtel has to call the customer and tell him that the documents are incorrect and the line will be disconnected till he submits the appropriate documents.
I never received a call before the line got disconnected and when I called Airtel customer care they didn¿t tell me which of my submitted documents are incorrect.
Airtel representative Praveen told me that he has submitted the documents to Main Office which is in Malad (west) location Mindspace and they too have no clue of what has happened to my documents.
I am really not sure what has happened because at the end of the month I will be told to pay the bill for all those services which I have availed and not used.

I went to a Airtel Gallery in Goregaon (west) and told them about this issue, they said that my documents were not valid and also that my billing date is on 5th August. I dont understand when my number got activated at 3rd week of July, how can they generate a bill on 5th August.

The same thing is happening to me now. I submitted my documents in goregaon (w) to Jyoti and 3-4 days after my line activation the outgoing and then the incoming also got closed, its already been 3 days. I was told that the documents were not send properly. It seems this is quit frequent with these guys, they have such casual attitude. Why should we pay for some service we were unable to use? Can someone tell some responsible persons number or mail id so we can talk about this in detail?
