I bought a new airtel pre-paid connection and submitted my address proofs as required.The connection was working fine. Then Suddenly on feb13,airtel blocked all my calls, both incoming and outgoing. I went and submitted the proofs again thinking the first time there might have been some mistake from airtel's side. There was no communication from airtel even though i went to airtel office twice in Koramangala,bangalore and they assured me that everything would be ok. Then I got a huge shock when after 15 days , they de-activated my sim. I went again to airtel office and now they told that they could do nothing , because their back-end operations people had done it.they told that the 1 year validity and 200Rs talktime in the sim would also have to be forfeited. my phone no. was [protected]. would advise you to stay away from airtel because they least care for their customers . AirTel — Forfeited my amount
Sir/Madam,I am Mukesh Sinha from santragachi, howrah, West Bengal.Earlier I was customer of airtel postpaid, airtel number was [protected] which has been closed after paying full amount. The bill was Rs 3186.18/-
1st payment was done on 26/07/08 amounted Rs 2000/-(Two thousand only) receipt no. 1617802 and next payment was done on 10/08/08 amounted Rs 1150/- (One Thousand one hundred fifty only) receipt no.1617607 to R.R. Group, dasnagar 's collections dock boy. After paying amount also on 29/07/09 I have received the notice from Advocate Chandrasekhar Sarkar that I have to pay Rs 1186.18/- which shows outstanding.
I had call to customer care of Airtel & discuss about this, then from there I got advised to visit along with the notice to the nearest branch, I had visited to Howrah Ac Market branch, there they are saying I have to pay the amount which has mention in the notice. I am an employer of IT company & have to keep on traveling. So, please tell me why I am getting frustration after paying full amout to airtel, Is this is the nature of airtell to take money from client as much as you can.
So, I request you solve the matter as urgent as possible, Otherwise I have put case against Airtel at Consumer court. My current Contact No. is [protected].
