[Resolved] Airtel — WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE | |
After a short spell of rains and thunderstorm day before yesterday (3/5/'10) evening my Airtel DTH sgnal went off and I am suffering for last around 48 hrs.I tried to contact the tolled and tolled free nos on 3rd evening but when it came to speaking to customer care it went blank and sometimes kept on ringing.Finally,I managed to get the line at around 7.30 am on 4/5/'10 and what a 'good morning, I had .A lady on the other end possibly half awake and could neither understand Hindi or English properly abruptly disconnected saying that the signal loss is owing to non payment.Finally,I could lodge a complaint at 3.35 pm yesterday and was told that the problem will be rectified by 10.48 am today ie 4/5/10.I have received a SMS at 12.23 pm saying my problem is rectified. Now when I am writing this at 6.10 pm with a TV screen showing SIGNAL LOSS-ERROR B003 for last two days, what will Mr Mittal comment about his company's examplary service and top of the world customer care? Airtel DTH — Worst possible service by Airtel DTH
I wanted to start with all the poor words which does not exist in dictionary, but...This is to inform you about the worst possible service provided by airtel DTH.
I was highly impressed by the services provided by airtel broadband and infact i was amazed by the prompt response of airtel broadband that when ever i call customer care, within hours(literally 1-2 hours), airtel person would be knocking my gate to resolve the issues.
Now, with the same mindset, i opted for airtel DTH HD connection, but it is really horrible that they can not provide me some HD channels on my request for more than 1 month inspite of calling customer care, local dealer (anil, jaydeep), Executive(Satendra), Manager (Mr. Manoj) several times. You can check my complaints lodged several time on customer care and call detail from my number.
Finally i decided to quit from this harassment and asked them to cancel , but again they were not ready to take my cancellation request first, but on my humble request they are finally disconnecting without any refund. They simply say that they dont have any refund policy.
Even your engineers say " ki sir humare yahan koi refund nahi hota, to kar lo compaint kahin bhi kuch nahi hoga".
I really dont have any hope from airtel DTH operation that they will do any thing or will refund my money, but still would like to bring all facts in front of you so that atleast somebody could be saved who are reading this forum.

Let me tell you that the same inccident "could neither understand Hindi or English properly abruptly disconnected" is happening very frequently to me. Even yesterday. Those guys directly disconnects the call. And I have another friend with the same view point. Not sure to whom you had outsourced your customer service. It is high time you do a quality audit. This is SO frustrating.
I called up Airtel as I lost some channels when I opted for the 12months + 2 months offer. I was having New Value Pack + Cine Plus.
