[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel blackberry service problems

I recently activated the Blackberry service with Airtel.

Its been 3 days but they have still not been able to activate it - after trying to register my phone with them, they said they were not able to register it and will raise a service request on it.

When I called them the following day, they said they will retrovision the number and then I need to register again.

The following day, I tried to register with them again - again I have the same problem.

Now I am told that another service request is being raised and I will know in 24 hours what the problem really is...

I am wondering - after paying a hefty sum every month, is this what they do for a corporate customer ?

Airtel's blackberry service is pathetic. Just disconnect as I have done. No point in following up. You will lose time and money.
Airtel Customer service is very bad. and they are not bothered about there customers.

I requested on 18th June for BB activation. after many follow ups, like begging Activated on 25th june.

After activation, they suppose to setup in my handset along with software, still they are not hellped.

Every day i'm calling 5 guys including top managers, they say today tomorrow. but they are not bothered about my problem.

pls. think. Who is using blackberry ? all top officials maximum.

For top level people they treat this way. what about the normal peoples condition.

fewmonths back i had net work problem, i faced similar situation. i fot for 6 months to rectification.

i'm using this number from last 10years. so i'm unable to change to other providers.

AIRTEL IS ONE OF THE WORST NETWORK AND SERVICE IS VERY vERY BAD. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BOTHER ABOUT YOU for months.

Because some one Airtel Executive is trying to reach from last few weeks.
How to activate my new blackberry curve cell phone . request your immediate intervention on this ASAP.
They just dont care. they insist that prepaid customers should change to postpaid. My blackberry connection has been disconnected for more than 15 days and I keep calling and wasting time logging in complaints but they just dont want to solve the problem. I am now going to consumer court and writing letter to DoT requesting that airtel licence should be scrapped. I dont think it will happen but atleast it will raise enough of a stink for people to realise what horrible service they give us under the garb of that stupid tune composedby A R Rahman
I was using N97, and changed to blackberry . obviously for official purpose but when i tried to activate my blackberry sevices on my Airtel prepaid no, i had a tough time.Its quite disappointing that Airtel only assures you to rectify the problem but no action is taken against it. Now its more than two days and they say that they have no clue how much time would it take to resolve the whole issue.
Secondly when you call them up, they will ask you to convert from prepaid to postpaid. Furthermore when i asked one of the executive to put me on to manager or some head very surprisingly the same executive comes on the line as a head of the department and speaks with me.
Their customer care is pathetic, network is bad too..I am having a horrible experience with this provider so i am comtempleting on changing my provider..cause staying with them will never get my blackberry services started.
I wanted to activate my BB service throw the Airtel for that call up to airtel BB service but they told me it will activate within 24hrs but already left 5days still not done any thing . whenever i call to BB Airtel service they keep telling me it will activate within 24hrs means as per the Airtel BB service 24hrs means 5days or may be one years or no activation for ever. i am really disappointed from this kind of service. now days everything going speed i dont know what happen to our Airtel they giving this kind of service. i still having faith in Airtel they will activate my BB service
my no. [protected]. i had activated BB connection in my bold 2 months a go. but on 22nd i forgor to recharge my prepaid card and my BB service got deactivated.. after that i again recharged my sim with rs.1000 and .. airtel did charged me RS.899 for BB service but still my service is not activated. i tried calling all the person. in 121, [protected] (blackberry Dept.) they people say this is pospaid dept. call 121 for prepaid. than i called 121, those people say this is customer care centre, for blackberry call 7070 / [protected]. but 7070 from blackberry device is not working at all.

bloody airtel is just playing with people and looting the customers.

airte sucks. people please dont ever use airtel forever.

mobile;[protected]and pin number 2148ff bleum with the airtel bb1 plan . i had been send a sms to 121 PMP 8520 .before 4 days backbut still that service are not activating on my mobile . when i am calling to the coustmor care[protected] they are told with me that service active on ur mobile after 24 hour . i am calling again and again to the coustmor care dialy thery are giving some negative responce to me ...(hat is this hell, this is just a servie to active on mobile it takes one week damn airtel )
<PMP 8520> to 121 i[censored] want to active on your blackberry it takes one or two weaks . whats this hell ...this is 2148edff and mobile [protected]
