Airtel — barring incoming/outgoing voice calls | |
I am a airtel customer by taking the number [protected] for the last three months. Initially they could not correctly record my add proof, instead sent a mail saying that my number would be disconnected. Despite submitting all the reqd doc while taking connections from a vendor again I resubmitted my photo and add proff. It was going well till 11 Oct 08. on 11 Oct 08 evening Irealised my incoming/outgoing voice calls have bee barred. On 12 Oct 08, When I contacted the customer care at Hyd on 121 they replied me that their server is down hence i should call them up after sometime. After 1/2 an hr again I rang up to know the problem, I heard same reply. Then i asked them some time means what whether it is 1min/1hr/1day/1wk/1yr. Then they told me to contact at 3 O clk on 12 Oct 08. I need clarifications from airtel on the followings: (a) If out / In coming voice calls are barred how can a customer contact them? (b) If at all airtel wishes to barr calls they need to inform the customer i.e with in 24 hrs ur no is going to be barred. (c) why customer care unable to provide satisfactory reply to a customer when contacted. Any way i wish to know where the problem lies whether with my hand set or with Airtel.
