Airtel — Deactivation of number | |||
Airtel has been harassing me for the last 14 days now on account of document submission. First they deactivated my outgoing calls citing that they didnt receive my documents. (This inspite of handing over the documents twice to the Airtel customer care representative). Then when I mailed them the scanned copy, they reverted the number temporarily. But now they have deactivated the number totally saying that they have still not received the documents. And I have been been expecting some urgent calls on my number today !! I have never been meted this worse type of a customer service by any company. Is there a way to drag them to court ? Thanks Sriram Was this information helpful? | |||

This is Aditya Mathur.i have been using a airtel from last 2 or 3 yrs.my number is [protected].registered on the Photo Id of my Sister Prachi Mathur.i want to complaint regarding inconvienence and unproffesional attitude at the Airtel store.actually i have lost my sim card in the second week of january 2012.i visited to the Airtel Store(Rohtas Nagar,Shahdara).and submitted the photo id proof along with the photo to get the new sim on 28/1/12.i was promised dat number will be activated within 4 hrs.but the barefact is that my number is not activated yet..airtel store employer Ms.Shilpi miscommunicated and misbehaved with me...day before yesterday on 30/01/12(monday)..i call to the airtel store shahdara..the same girl Shilpi was saying sir 'koi bat ni activate nahi hua to".den i called to nodal center they informed me that there must be some technical problem in your sim so i visited again to the same airtel store there Shilpi told me that"mere se galti ho gai jo apko sim diya".what would i understand from dis statement.she was talking me in very negative attitude.this type of behaviour or inconvienence is not expected with airtel.at the same store not a single employee was in professional uniform of airtel.....i m very much disturbed with this kind of inconvienence.. nodal department just promised for the activation of number but i cant see any sight of hope...on 31/01/12 i got issued the new sim of number[protected] H-2).NUMBER IS STILL NOT ACTIVATED ON 01/02/2012......we are very old consumer of airtel...i m now totally harrased and disturbed with this kind of inconvienence....just because i hv lost my sim card i m facing all this.......i hope u would look upon my complaint seriously and will take immediate action towards the airtel ...........

I am Md sartaj my Mobil number was [protected] I have submit a requested to deactivate my number on 22 of December in uttam nagar after paying all dues it was Rs.1743. But there is no response from their side. Neither I use that number after 22 of December nor there is any incoming and out going calls on that number. And I don’t know why they are regularly sending me monthly bills.
How many times I have called to customer care but they are not taking action by saying that your number is activate and pay all the dues then this number will be deactivate.
Please help me I have fed up by receiving monthly bills.
