[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — Non compliance of request made to look into the matter as to how the said digital tv is not receiving any channel

Sir,

I have purchased an Airtel Digital TV connection 10 Apr 2009 for a sum of Rs 1750.00 with three months free service as per company's policy. On 13 May 2009 the said connection was unable to receive any channel. I contacted to customer care set by the company to lodge the complaint. But even after repeated trails I could not succeed to contact customer care executive. Very next day I again began to contact the customer care service. After lot of trails I was able to contact the customer care executive and I told the problems I was facing. He assured that the engineer of company would contact me after a day, ie, very next day. After three days, a representative came to my home and examined the set top box. He told that set top box got deffective and it needed to be changed and assured that very next day it would be changed by their company.

Since then I have been trying to contact the customer care or the company representative, but neither any reply nor any action has so far been taken.

In view of the foregoing, I earnestly request that the set top box including accessories fitted by the company may please be got removed and a suitable penalty be levied upon the company and I may please be paid the amount so that I will purchase the same system from another reputed company whose performance in the market is good enough.
