[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — ONLINE PURCHASE - NOT INSTALLED | |||
I purchased a DTV connection online from Airtel on 28th. Your person has not installed it till now. Your technician came once on 29th and fixed the antenna. But did not install it saying he did not have enough cable. He promised to return on 30th evening by 6.30 pm. I called him at 6.30 and he asked me to buy cable and keep. I bought cable and waited for him till 8pm. since he did not come , i contacted him and he said he cant come and asked me to do what ever I can . Is this Airtel service to customers? I have been using airtel mobile since 2003. never had such bad experience. I have been calling calling your customer care for the past 3 days and I am getting very bad response from there too.. please tell me how I can cancell my connection. I have made 34 calls to your customer care in the past 4 days all in vain. I have been providing all these details to all people.
Your person came and installed the connection last evening by around 7pm. But with an error message no:6 saying that I need to recharge to watch channels !!!
Its a new connection taken and I was told that if I pay 1590, I will be getting the channels as per the package free for 3 months and that I will also be getting a cash back of Rs.250/-.
But then, its all sounding funny and stupid...with a customer taken for a ride ..four days and when I call your customer care last night at 9.30 ( call went up to 10.45 your person taking details and checking and connecting to senior people and like that all in vain and to make fun of the customer ). finally he said that there is no balance in my account and I need to recharge my account !!!
I have bought my connection and not even installed and he says I have no balance and should recharge.
I was a customer of Airtel since 2003 and never had such a problem.
