[Resolved]  Airtel — Harassment to customers

I have been a regular Airtel customer since 6 years now and using Airtel post paid connection (Acc No.[protected]. I had opted for one time advance rental bill plan (Rs. 699). Every time I call customer care, they confirm that my bill plan of advance rental is active. However, Airtel has been deducting Rs. 300 every month as monthly rental. I have been calling to the customer care umpteen times and have conveyed my concerns (some of the many instances has been mentioned for your reference - 29 Jan 2013 -Faisal - complaint reference 76152809, 30 Jan Karan - Ref: [protected], Nodal Officer Saurita Bannerjee, request lodged at website - No. 48974853, 30 Jan - Sangeeta, Another girl today on 2nd April 2013). Even after my several complaints nothing has been done to resolve my complaint. I have requested Airtel every time to adjust the inflated bill amount with my call usage. Instead, they have now disconnected my number. I have spoken to so many representatives at Airtel but seems the brand is interested only in harassing its customers and do not pay attention to their complaints. I had this impression that Airtel is a good brand and their service is the best. But the response of their customer service has been so disgusting that I now plan to port my number to other operator and sue Airtel for the harassment and financial loss incurred to me.

AirTel — HARASSMENT

I DON’T RECEIVE BILL FOR THIS NUMBERS SINCE SEVERAL YEARS. AFTER SO MANY COMPLAINTS I GOT MY FIRST BILL IN FEB 2010. FROM WHICH I CAME TO KNOW MY SMS PACK WAS INACTIVE WITHOUT I ASKING TO STOP IT. SO I CALL CUSTOMER CARE SO CUSTOMER CARE PERSON SAID YOU ARE RIGHT YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY REQUEST SO YOU WILL GET REFUND. SINCE SERPTMBER 2009 IT WAS STOPED SO IM ENTITLED TO GET ALMOST Rs. 5000 to 6000 refund. AFTER HELL OF TALKING TO CUSTOMER CARE AND FROM ONE SENIOR PERSON TALK I GOT REFUND OF JUST 900/- SO DENIED TO ACCEPT OT AND SAID TILL YOU CLEAR MY THIS ISSUE I WILL NOT MAKE PAYMENT OF YOUR BILLS. SO ON 11TH May 13, 2010 MY OUT GOING WAS BARRED. IM CUSTOMER OF AIRTEL SINCE LAST 7 TO 8 YEARS PAYING ALMOST 5 LACS PLUS AMOUNT. IM ENTILE FOR THIS MENTAL HARRESHMENT ? IS THIS WAY AIRTEL PAYS TO THEIR LOYAL CUTOMERS ? WITHOUT LOOKING CUSTOMER RECORD OR COMPLAINTS THEY SIMPLY BARRED NUMBER ?

THIS IS NOTHING BUT SHEER HUMILIATION. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER ISSUES ALSO LIKE VERY BAD NETWORK, THEIR COLLECTION PEOPLE ARE USING LANGUAGE OF SADAK CHAAP PERSON. WHO WILL PAY FOR THIS INSULT, HUMILIATION AND HARRESHMANET ?

AirTel — Harassment of Customer

I had visited the Sec 35 Airtel office to convert my Airtel prepaid no. 9815XXXX8 to postpaid connection. I received a very response from the Mam there I was told that there is no procedure with airtel for the same. Then on being asked by me she plainly told me that yes you could easily get the portability done. On receiving such a response I got the portability no. then I received a call from the executive telling me that moving from prepaid to postpaid was possible he had noted my complaint & asked me to visit your office in sec 10. Today I had been there and I was again told the same that this facility was not available with them & I should go to the sec 32 office.
This is mere harassment of the valuable time of your customer. I have this no. from the past 12/13 years (magic sim) .

My concern has still not been heard. My number has been disconnected by you and this is added harassment for me. I have not got any calls in order to resolve the issue, as you have mentioned. Instead, I am getting calls for the payment of the bills, where it should have been adjusted with the inflated amount in my previous bills. All your customer care executives still assure that they have noted down my complaint and it will be resolved. i hope you now will acknowledge the pathetic response from Airtel.

Even after 2 months and after speaking to n number of your representatives, my issue is still not resolved. It is a practice that all of them escalate my concern internally to next levels in Airtel. The result is ZERO. This is happening since 2 months. I am really fed up of Airtel. What details you want me to share!

I have taken a duplicate SIM on[protected]. I was told my SMS services will be initiated after 24 hours. It's been 3 weeks and I am still not receiving or able to send SMS. I am being deprived of my basic right to even port to other connections because I cant send or receive SMS. I am going to wait for last 24 hours and then proceed to sue Airtel for depriving me of basic right to PORT per TRAI.
I have been using the Airtel broadband from last 10 years. in the last octorber time 2021 I faced issues continuesly with connectivity and then asked them to stop my connectin in oct 2021 and moved to ACT . Airtel stopped my connection and then charged rs 20 for doing online. But they keep charging monthly. Accidentally I paid once then they keep charging without using it from last 9 months. Now once I stopped they are harassing by calling daily.
