[Resolved] Airtel — Horrible Customer service | |||
I have 2 airtel mobile connections (one in Mumbai and one in Madhya Pradesh) and 1 idea connection which I use for Internet. My number is [protected] and yesterdar I bought a pack for Rs. 9 which gives 3G internet for half an hour. In fact, I have used this package earlier as well and it worked quite well for me. However, this time It gave me a problem once the pack got activated. The 3G network was not showing up. It was giving me Internet only through "G" and "E" which are GPRS and EDGE respectively. On the top of that, I got charged for using the Internet when it was supposed to be free as per the Rs.9 pack of 3G internet for half an hour. So, I called up the cust serv onlt to encounter one of the horrendous customer service I can ever remember. First of the two calls were disconnected by the customer service agents. I called up at around 12.15 am in the night. The third call and the agent couldn't understand anything about the problem. IN fact, he started to say something like that I have used a dongle. etc when I dont even have a dongle or a laptop with me. When he was unable to solve the issue, he connected the call to his senior executive "ZAHID". Now, this chap turned out to be rude and he simply stated withou any reason that I was supposed to be charged and when I asked why he said that he cant help me and he call up the 3G technical tream. I was so frustrated that I asked him for the MNP port out number and this Zahid was more than happy to give me the MNP number, He asked me to call 1901. If this is the way your so called customer service to work then, I am sorry I will never like to associate myself with airtel. Now, its not about the Rs.25 which I have lost as its not a big deal for me but its the principle. I have been humiliated by your customer service and I will make sure that I will continue to raise my voice against it unless you people call me and apologize. Also, I want actions to be taken against "ZAHID" and the previous agent. Also, I would like to be compensated. Was this information helpful? | |||

Airtel Mobile — Horrible Services of Airtel
Hi,I'd recently changed my address and informed airtel well in advance of same and requested my new bill copy to be delivered there which they just claim they've have dispatched but provided me no proof of same when i asked them to do so.
I then asked them to re-send again once more and that complain absolutely fell on deaf years.
I'm with airtel for past 3 yrs and such horrible service by airtel is totally unacceptable.
Airtel in past too are famous for late to very very late delivery of the bill
Can Airtel wake up and improve their services and provided atleast a bit of satisfaction to customers rather than JUST FOCUSSING ON MONEY
Airtel Mobile — Rude and horrible horrible service
I am a 68 year old woman in Bangalore. I have obtained a Mobile connection 2 months ago. After properly submitting all the documents Airtel required, I was given a SIM card. Immediately after, Airtel ran address verification checks and authorized my service. Two weeks after that they disconnected my service without any information. I had to go through local repair stores to figure out why it was disconnected. Finally when I called they said we have to rerun a address verification again, and that my line would be active in 24-72 hours. I was without phone for 48 hours. Three weeks after that (March 30th), again they disconnected my service, again their answer is Address verification, again it took 48 hours. The service came available on April 2nd. Now today is April 6th, and they have disconnected yet again for Address verification. I was really upset on the phone with them, and their answer is "we will have your connection ready in 48 hours, and HOPEFULLY it will be the last time". I have been asking them to refund my money left on the account (900 rupees) without any hope. I wuld be very happy to some other provider if they can refund my balance. I need some Govt (Indian or some World Human rights) to protect my basic consumer rights. No where in the world have I seen such blatant abuse of citizen rights by the Corporate .Thanks

Airtel — Irresponsibility - 3g Activivated without Informing
Hi,It is a shame on Airtel's Part that they are not able to manage customers. Whenever we call Serv Desk, they promise a call back which is always a false promise. I have been facing a lot of problems with airtel.
1. No proper Account IDs - For one number they have created n number of account IDs which they themselves are not sure which number is actually correct.
2. They donot know how to manage Account IDs at all
3. When I check online which AIRTEL calls Customer SELFCARE (a stupid website from airtel which is of no use to customers) has a different Account ID and the Bill I am receiving has a different Account ID. So whenever I try logging in to Website and check my Balance, the Balance always says 0, But end of month I get a surprise Bill of some Rs. 5000 even I am in a plan of CUG 499.
Number - [protected] which is in my name was purchased in the Month of November 2011. Just because this Sim was inserted in to a Handset which has a 3G facility, without sending any communication nor taking a confirmation from My end Airtel has activated 3G on my account and when called them they say it is a benefit for customer while it is a cheating practice/technique that Airtel adopts to cheat its customers.
Unfortunately I have 3 numbers with Airtel and now I am planning to get rid of Airtel for ever.

at 3.30pm i call at [protected] their Mr Narinder pick take my call as customer care.when i complained them he told me you go only in consumer court if you want to continue your service.
so please tell me where i go.
i am in marketing line and i loose 5000/- today are you pay this?
