[Resolved]  Airtel — Illegal Charges and Fraud

Hello,

I am using Airtel boardband connection no.[protected] account no. [protected]. In the following bill period 2/26/2013 - 3/25/2013 and 3/26/2013 - 4/25/2013 they have charged me for a Smartbyte purchase (an amount of Rs. 1499 + taxes ). This purchase request has not been initiated by me or my family member.

I raised this concern with their call centre representative as well as emailed on [protected]@in.airtel.com but never got a satisfactory response. I am suspecting a fraud by Airtel as they are unable to provide me the enough document to prove the purchse is originated from my machine. And I offered them that if the request has been raised from any of my machine then I am ready to pay the outstanding along with any late fee and penalty. But still they are not ready to corporate and disconnected the service.

Please help.

Airtel — fake charges on mobile office

i activate mobile office on 9 march and start surfing but suddency stops, i notice that my Rs144.had reduced, after calling to customer care they cannot able to tell me anything that why my balance is dedected, i wrote compain on their helpline but no results..

AirTel — Airtel fake charges

Hi

I have a mobile number [protected] and I am using monthly plan of Mobile Office.

On 13th AUGUST 2010 at 11:48 AM, I got a message from 54321 " Thanks for downloading Java Game from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 50. Enjoy Best Games ! Join Games Club http://gclub.in "

Actually I have not downloaded any game through Airtel Live WAP service. So, i talked to the customer care (121) for refunding my RS. 50 but they forward my complaint with reference number "[protected]"
but they are not refunding my RS 50.

So, please return my deducted money that is RS. 50 ASAP.

AirTel — ILLEGAL CHARGES

my mobile no. is [protected]. I have been charged on 12/1/2011 of rs. 99/- for downloading a java game but i did not down any game. when i call costumer care they did not listen to me. now on 17/1/2011 i have charged for Rs 20 for renewed of game. i don't know what is this?
Airtel is fuddu company. They all are 'GANDU'
Airtel does not take care of his customers.

Airtel — Proving Fraud

I am really tired of calling Airtel's customer care now a days. If you have money in your pocket they will snatch it and customer care accepts this that they are happy to be a fraud company. I opted for 19 Rs (Rs. 1 for 3 minutes) at my two Airtel Mobile Numbers[protected] and[protected] and they said we are not aware about the recharges. My God what a company since customer care says its your mistake why you recharged. Please make sure do not either OPT this company for MNP or choose as your service provider. It is such a small money and I opted to get the call benefits but i lost trust on this company now. I applied one of the number to be ported in another company and waiting for second number to complete 3 months. Bye Bye Airtel. I am not sure whether it is resolved or not, however i think you people are loosing track. Now AIRTEL recharge is not available in ICICI internet or NET banking and from other online recharges. May be other banks online AIRTEL recharges have been also removed. That somehow proves even major banks are not even recommending AIRTEL. I sincerely recommend you people to change it to other service providers.

AirTel — Illegal charge

I have an enterprise connection with Airtel provided by Reliance Industries. My no is [protected].
On two separate occasions I have been charges Rs. 99/- for downloading games which I have not. My data usage records and website access records can be checked to confirm the same. I have also lodged a service request no 38532679. But I am not sure wheter the complaint has been registered and regarding the contents of the same.

Also I have been charged Rs 5/- for subscribing to an Aarti Service, which I did not. I have registered a complaint against the same at 121 which can be verified by my call records.

I fail to understand that why a company like Airtel indulges in this unethical and fraudulent business of charging the customers illegally and harassing them.

I raised this concern repetitively with their call centre representative as well as emailed on [protected]@in.airtel.com but never got a satisfactory response. I am suspecting a fraud by Airtel as they are unable to provide me the enough documents to prove the purchase is originated from my machine (to be specific the MAC ID of the machine). However they cited their inability is doing so. I asked the call centre presentative and his supervisor to guide me to right person to raise my concern but they never did so.

I offered them that if the request has been raised from any of my machine Mac ID belongs to my desktop/gadgets) then I am ready to pay the outstanding along with any late fee and penalty. But they are not ready to cooperate and provide the necessary proof enabling me to clear the due if it is legitimate.

I have paid all my outstanding before the due date except the above mentioned illegal charges. But still they disconnected the service.
