[Resolved]  Airtel — unnecessary deductions from Airtel mobile services

I am 75 years old customer of Airtel service and my mobile number is [protected].
Today (date: 22/05/2011) i got message at 2.05p.m from Airtel services number-AD-54321,"Thanks for downloading Humgama Contest Game from Airtel.You have been charged Rs.10..." i never downlaoded nor sent any request in my whole life time for this or such other games to Airtel.
As i have hearing problem so on my behalf my daughter Savita complaint Airtel costumer care complaint numbers: 121 and 198. there i complaint about it. Call center Operator ms Ashwini after checking that no such games were downlaoded and it was Airtel mistake, and so with apology asured her that my money will be refunded. As she switch off the phone again i got two messages from Airtel Service number:543211 at 2:27p.m.telling me further unneccessary duduction they made from my prepaid accout. Message i got is : "thank you for choosing HelloTunes. you have been charged rs 30 for 30 days. and t stop this service call[protected]..." and the second message: "You have been charged Rs.15 your Hellotunes has been changed to Tum Ho Mera Pyar. to search your favorite song sms ..."
in this way Airtel without any demand duducted 55 Rs provided me Hellotune services with dirty song. so my daughter again called Airtel Service and told the operator about both unwanted, undemanded services and duductions. the second Operator again with apology refunded 45rs.
But again at 3.45 pm i got same messages from 543211 duducting my 45rs. so i again complaint to 121and 198 about the same mistake. the operator again apologized for the Airtel Mistake but denied to refund the money with baseless auguement that Airtel cannot refund Thrid time money to the same number so he is helpless to refund my money. when i asked him then how Airtel can deduct money from customer accout without any demand, he told me that i should talk about my complaint to his superiors and made me to hold down the phone for near about 30 minutes and then cut off the call. after that i tryied for next two hours to contect customer care operator but Airtel managed my call not to get contected with customer care operators.
This is regular practice immoral business ethics of Airtel. this is happened with me many times in past servives too.
and so I want my money to be refunded back and no such trouble in future.

Airtel Mobile Service — Refund of Amount & stop unwanted services/messages

Myself Mr.Gopal Shah residing at Baroda (Gujarat) having Airtel Mobile Card No.[protected]
Since last so many days I am receiving unwanted messages on my Mobile Phone & Airtel
company is deducting amount from my Account. I have never subscribed for such type of
unwanted services & not at all interested. No. of times I have contacted Airtel Custome Care
services on Phone to stop it & for refund of amount deducted from my account.

This is to inform you that pl. take up the matter to all Govt. Authorities & publish it in all the
National & Internation level News Papers for such type of Cheating with general public. Also
write / arrange to send notice to Airtel Company to stop it and refund of amount immediately.

Pl. write me / inform me in writing about action taken against Airtel Company and oblige.

Airtel — hearing problem

Dear sir.

My Postpaid mobile No. [protected] Last 8 months imam complaining Airtel that I canot hear from my residence when incoming & outging call is connected . freqently after it is disconnected while talking . I am feeling such a problem I have also one prepaid line ihaving the same problem at my residence.

My mother is 80 years old staying in the house and i am a working lady . I feel difficult to talk to my mother. My mother feels anxiety thinking about her age.

I will be obliged i[censored] look into the matter and get rid of this problem.

Same type of problem happened with me. They have cut my Rs. 15 for Missed call alerts which I have never applied. My mother use this number for only receiving! When I called to the complaints helpline ie. 198 they simply disconnected my call!!
We are using Airtel sevices from past 4 to 5 years and we use to trust them. But now the company has changed they have become like vultures they are in look out for an oppotunity to levy some unathorised chages as and when like.
I have called the airtel cutomer service to activate do not disturb like 5 months ago for my moms mobile and they said that it will be activated in 45 days a rediculous time gap they have given but still i said ok but they keep on sending my mom the same unwanted sms and keep on activating some services which my mom doesnt even know about and started charging rupee at first everyday now it went upto rs5 everyday today i spoke to the customer service representative he said that it was me who activated the service and after a conversation he decided to deactivate the service and to my surprise he said that there is another service which is presently activated on the and asked wether i would like to deactivate it as well (and this service is about some chat with a cricketer it seems) this is the level they are going down to now. Airtel is really becoming a thief in a corporate veil.
I would like consumer complaint forum to take some severe actions against these people who think that they are above the law and think themselves as so called GODS.

I don't know why you are sending me wrong information that my my complaint matter is resolved ... even I got message on mobile that from AM-Service on 26/ 05/ 11 that " we tried to reach you in regard to service request number[protected]. we confirm that your service request has been resoved"

this is biggest lie.

Airtel has not refunded my money back. on 23 rd may at 11 .30 am i called 198. on that number mis customer care rupali attended my call and she denied to refund my money back.. so i requestewd her to transfe my call to custumer care representative or complaint Executive. so at my request she transfered my call. after a long wait mr. Bipin Pawar senior executive attended my call and hearing my complaint made me wait from longgggg time and after studying my complaint is authentic apologies and asured me that airtel will refund my money and told me to call after 2.25 pm on the same day. the reason behind it he told me that all ready aitel refunded me money twice and cannot refund thrid time in twenty four hours. (how rediculous that Airtel can take off money from customer accout as many time as they want within twenty four hours but can not refund them their own money even though they are responsible for the mistake.)
mr Bipin Pawar asure me that he has put on my information on their server so that when i will call after 2.25 p.m Customer care repersentive will imitiatly refund may money back. On mr. Bipin Pawar's request i agred that i will call 198 or 121.
right from that day till today i called many times to 198 but all my call are atomatically ends without transfering to customer care repersentaive. In each call i only get recorded voice thanking for calling and imidiately call gets ended. and after every call i recieve message from Airtel -"Dial*121# (toll free) from your Airtel mobile to know your Account balance and Validity, offers and to start or stop a service.

mr. Rakesh Ranga i can understand in whih way you have solved my complaint ? did you mean by sending customer in answerable zone so that customer could not get into contect to resolve and demand his money back?

I Am airtel customer since 8 years i many time i have gone through such illegel duduction from Airtel for unwanted and never demand services and so at last getting irritated by such tebble I am pursuing against it. so please sincerely refund my money and reslove any complaint instead of sending me wrong information.
