[Resolved]  Airtel — relocation of antenna not done - worst service by customer care and field personnel

Hi,

First of all I urge people not to opt an airtel for your dth and just don't take even if given for free as part of some promotional offer and later you may repent for the service.don't rely on this company for dth at all based on other vertical services provided by airtel

I have logged a service request(req no: 6710747) for relocating my airtel dth in Bangalore intracity(from pin:560076 to 560048) on 7th of April and I have been assured by the customer reps that whole process will be done in maximum of 72 hours and rs 300 will be deducted from my account for uninstall and reinstall.From the day 2 onwards I have been calling the customer care on daily basis(both tolled and toll free)to send an engineer and end up in vain.The worst part over here is 9 out of 10 times customer care folks disconnect the call before listening the concern from user.

Till date no one has attended my request and I shifted my residence on April 9 and the antenna is still residing at the roof of my old residence.


The good thing is I have taken the new cable connection from other service provider and I no more require Airtel dth.Please cancel my connection and refund the necessary amount.

Hello airtel executives,



Do some one respond to my concern asap and take responsive action before I get spired.I have chosen this forum as your customer care executives are really weird and they are not able to help solving problem after 10 days of logging the service request.

This is the way Airtel works. I'm having a similar (much worse) experience with Airtel. My complaint regarding the faulty STB is now pending for 2 weeks. Refer to http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/airtel-c557427.html for details.

Good luck if you choose to subscribe to any of Airtel's services/products. Mr Mittal and associates are not interested in hearing consumer complaints.
