[Resolved]  Airtel Landline — Excess Billing-Plan Change not implemented properly

I'vea Airtel landline 4079225 in Lucknow. I had taken a Broadband plan of Rs799/- PM. On 17th March'09, i requested Airtel helpline that i don't want broad band any more. I was informed that a combo plan of Rs 250/- is available which can be used for land line as well as internetas and when reuired to which I had agreed. The request no 625089 dt 17/03/09 was registered and I was informed that it would take 7-10 days to effect the change in plan. It was also told that for such period pro-rata bill would be raised out of Rs 799/-plan and before implementation of new plan i would be informed.

On 21/03/09, I had inquired with Airtel helpline but I was told that it wouldtake few more days. Reference number of interaction was given as 70268651.

Again on 25/03/09 I had enquired but same reply was repeated by call center. Reference number 70866049 for above request.

Finally on 4th April'09 I was informed that theplan is implemented.

To my surprise, when I received the next bill, it shows excess use of Broad Band and a bill of Rs 1100+ only on account of DSL charges. On enquiry the call center informed that plan was changed on 19th March'09 itself. All details were given to Call center and thereafter every alternate day some one from Airtel is calling us asking how much amount wouldw pay. But the billed amount is not getting changed.

Now Airtel has disconnected the telephone without any resolution of the compliant.

airtel-landline — change the scheme

to,
whom so ever concirned,
i prutha wants to change the plan of the broadband given on the airtel no.[protected].i require unlimited plan of rs.649.so kindly change the plan as soon as possible.

Airtel Landline — Billing complaint

For the last 4 to 5 months, have been complaining to Airtel on their 121 and till date they have been billing for the services "Gaming Calls". It is a pity that they do not respond to the complaints made nor cancelling the facility which is not required.

my telephone is dead since one month many time i went to airtel office but my problam not has been solved even your officers are not attanding my phone.

Airtel Landline — wrong commitment

i cant call std call in my landline phone of airtel landline.i call coustmer care in 100 times.but they reply wait 4 hours .some complate number is<[protected]> name yogender.and 2nd is<[protected]> name dipali.
PLEASE ACTION FOR AIRTEL CUSTMERCARE.

Airtel — landline bill plan was not changed

This is regarding my complaint against airtel for not changing the bill plan on
time.

I had requested for migration of bill plan last month. and it was supposed to
get effected on 6th.
I also made a payment of Rs 3000 for my internet usage according to old plan till 6th.The guy assured me that bill plan will get changed on 6th.
But on sat, we got a call saying that , this change was not done..


The worst experience was when I called the customer service yest to enquire
about it.. and there one rude guy took the phone and gave bad service. He
rudely mentioned that there is not request made. But I am sure that I made a
call on last week of may to change the request plan. it either on
23rd/24th/25th may for sure..

I just got shock when i saw in airtel.in that from 5th to 11th, only the dsl charges are
4500..This is definitely a mistake by airtel and I request to you check into
this matter with top priority.
I definitely don't want to pay so much amount for mistake which I have not done.

AirTel — Update in Billing Plan

Hi
I got an email from Airtel that my billing plan has been updated from 799 to 899 .

I called back the customer service and they told that we dont call anyone and will provide the update via email , I asked to revert back to me to my old plan but they said that it was not exsist any more and cant be gvien . The customer service was not helpful at all .

I asked to xfer my call to next level , while transfering the call the they disconnected and never called me back.

Not sure what to do now since to call customer care again I have to pay the calling charges .
