[Resolved]  Airtel Lifetime Prepaid — can't make calls to several valid numbers being a new user

sir,

i have just enlist myself to the airtel lifetime prepaid services. my number is [protected]. being a new user i am facing a major glitch of airtel - i cant make call to several valid numbers. however, when trying from other number i am successful. i heard from my son that he had undergone through same problem. the numbers that i cant make calls are- [protected], [protected], [protected] and the like.
plse help me fast so that i can enjoy my sim without any troubleshoot.

Airtel Lifetime Prepaid — lifetime prepaid no recycling

i bought airtel lifetime prepaid in the month of may 07 and subsequently recharged Rs 100/- on 30/05/2007 at 1046 am trans id [protected] . then visited for web access to airtel customer care at andheri . got it activated . went to some other place for month . my no deactivated by them stating govt rules about adress verification .nobody visited my residence for verification . since i was out of maharashtra no roaming was there .now i found that this no is recycled and given to other person . however i decided to go for other no with same lifetime prepaid money which i paid to them . but airtel custcare refused to do so. they are not into losses because of no recycling as airtel must have charged other person same ammount . pl look into matter and refund me the rs 700/-

Airtel Lifetime Prepaid — Disconnected service

Hi I have subscribed for Airtel lifetime prepaid. My connection number is [protected]. I was out of station from July'08 due to my service and my phone was switched off. When I came back on Oct'08 end, I found my service disconnected. I contacted customer care center and they said it was disconnected as there was verification due to some terrorist activities taken place recently in India and since during enquiry, my phone was switched off, they disconnected the service. I told them why airtel didnot contact in my alternate number to verify. I have to travel abroad due to nature of my service and that does not mean that service proider would discontinue the service. I told them to verify the information and restore back the number. But customer care said that is not possible.
I can not understand why they would not restore the service as I had subscribed for lifetime prepaid connection. At least it should continue for intial 4/5 years.

Airtel Mobile — Life time pre paid

I have a life time pre paid from Airtel, being NRI we use only when in India. My family was surprised that our number is working with someone else. How can they allot life time pre paid to others.

This is absolutely deceiving practice of business, no difference between Airtel and any person from the street, I expected fair business by Airtel. I find myself cheated and helpless, because in India no govt. agency/media will support the customer since business houses are big.

Airtel Lifetime Prepaid — Auto debits from our accounts

I have a lifetime prepaid card ([protected] for last 7 years. Service providers are automatically activates the services on our mobile and chrarge monthly rentals for the same.On sending the message "STOP" on 121 they again keep on sending message to resend messages . This a complete harrasement and cheating with customers for collecting money by way of forcefully activating services and charge the rentals.
