Airtel — Consumer complaint against Bharti Airtel- Permanent disconnection of Advance paid rent Number | |||
Hi. I am Nishant Singh , I had a mobile connection of Bharti Airtel +91 [protected] since 2006. In March 2009 I move to Mumbai from Delhi and I want to continue this Mobile No. that’s way I spoke to Airtel customer care for any advance rental plan and they had suggest me some Rs.999 advance rental plan for 3 year . In this plan I don’t have to pay any thigh for Monthly rent, I have to pay only the call which I make. I took this plan and paid advance rent to Airtel. But from May 2010 my Mobile is out of order and when I spoke to customer care they said that your number is permanently disconnected and this number is allotted to somebody else and we will not able to give any refund for your advanced rent. There was a issue with me where I paid INR1000/- to them as activation fee of my number [protected] and at the time of activation they clearly told me that the money is REFUNDABLE if I use AIRTEL service for ONE YEAR.I used the postpaid service more than 3 years and when I went to them to convert my postpaid connection to prepaid connection they did it but they did'n REFUND a single penny...!
