[Resolved]  Airtel Mobile Connection — Excess money paid not reconciled properly

I have been using a airtel mobile no [protected] for which I was paying bills regularly. In Mar 09 by mistake I have paid excess amount. During April 09 June Airtel changed my customer account number from[protected] to[protected]. In the process the excess amount was not transfered from old account number to new account number. Because of this every month my service was disconnected. I have made complaint over phone to resolve this. In addition Airtal made several calls asking for payment and I explained the problem to all the callers and every one promised to resolve this.

Since the issue was not solved I made a email complaint in June 09 to resolve this. Inspite of several calls and reminders the issue was not solved hence I requested Airtel to disconnect my connection and destroyed the SIM (This was also informed to Airtel).

Now I have a legal notice asking for mony where as the fact is Airtel has excess money from me. The acknowledgement mail from Airtel is attached for reference.

When I called the mobile number in the legal notice the person on the other side was using abusive language against me.

Request you to resolve this and protect me from further harrasment.
