[Resolved]  Airtel — My bill plan has been changed from 699 to 1500 without informing me..and now insisting me to make payment.

Address:Bangalore, Karnataka

I am terribly annoyed and surprised by the agencies activity and the approach with me and my family. We have been harassed by them in the worst manner; after being their longest customer.

Problem: Bill plan change from Rs.699 to Rs.1500 without informing the customer

Plan which I was holding was Rs.699 plan and without informing me my plan was changed to Rs.1500 plan effective 12 June, 2012. Due to the plan change from the month of June 2012 I land up paying Rs.1685 for two months. When I received the third month bill amount was Rs.5617. I immediately call up the customer care then I came to know without intimating me they have changed the bill plan and disconnected my connection.
From the day my connection is disconnected I am calling up the customer care but I don’t receive any response from their side. Only response I get is “We really apologize for it and will try to resolve this matter”. They even told that it has been escalated to next level and they gave me a number and ask me contact them. The number which I got from them is [protected] (Meenakshi). I tried this number but it is not getting connected. Even I wrote a mail to Meenakshi, person name as Barun from nodal department also called me up and told me that he will try to resolve the issue. But no one reverted back with any solution. I also send a mail to Barun to cancel my connection. Some Mr. Santosh and Deepak spoke to me and told me that 26th Dec at 11.am they will be coming to office to resolve the issue but that 26th never happened from Airtel.

Airtel complaint Service request number[protected] and Interaction id are [protected], [protected].

Now, I have received a Lok Adalath notice from Airtel for non-payment of the bill and the amount which they are claiming for is Rs.7022. Since my connection was barred in the month of September itself after receiving a bill amount of Rs.5617, I don’t understand how my amount is increased to Rs.7022 without doing any settlement from their side.

I am being harassed and mentally tortured by Airtel.
Please help me fight with them.
